Lots of smiles, hands-on learning, and special moments with our four-legged friends at our Easter saddle club today 🐣🐴🥕💛

It was great to see all the children developing their knowledge and skills throughout the day. They took part in learning about grooming, feeding and watering, as well as gaining an understanding of different horse breeds and colours. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and engagement in every activity. Thank you to everyone who joined us today. We hope you all have a fantastic Easter holidays 😁

Easter Holidays 🐣☀️🐴

Saddle club is back on Monday 30th March 2026 2pm-4:30pm. Open to all pre-existing clients of Linden Farm. Please call or message us on 07821386193 to secure your child’s place.

We are now taking bookings for a range of horse riding experiences, including lead rein rides and one hour or two hour treks through the beautiful Welsh countryside and hills.

Half hour lead rein rides are ideal for beginners, offering a relaxed and supported introduction to riding. Our one and two hour treks are suited to more experienced riders, with a faster pace that includes either walk and trot or walk, trot and canter.

Horse riding lessons are also available for beginner, novice or experienced riders.

The easter holidays tend to be very busy, so to secure your lesson or trek, please call us on 07821386193.

After waking up to snow on New Year’s Day, we were forced to close due to icy and unsafe conditions. Following a full week of severe weather including Storm Goretti, we’re delighted to be reopening for both riding lessons and trekking. Fingers crossed for no more snow disruption 🤞

For any new clients looking to book lessons, we now have availability on Monday and Friday evenings, as well as weekday and weekend daytime slots. Our lessons are open to both adults and children from beginner to advanced level.

For anybody wondering about our availability, just give us a call on 07821386193. Alternatively, you can send us a text message with what you require and your contact details and we will respond as soon as possible. Please note that during busy periods we may not always be able to answer the phone so by sending us a message or leaving us a voicemail, you are guaranteed to get a response.

Only 77 days until spring arrives and warmer temperatures return! Plenty of sunny days ahead spent in the saddle a fantastic way to stay fit while soaking up that all-important vitamin D ☀️🐴

We’ve had a fantastic morning hosting our Halloween Saddle Club! 🎃🕷️🕸️👻

The children enjoyed learning how to groom, tack up, and untack their ponies, as well as discovering the points of the pony and the different parts of the bridle and saddle. They also had fun cleaning tack and rugging up ponies.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Halloween Saddle Club without some fun and games — pass the parcel, spooky worksheets, and lots of sweets to end the morning on a high! 🍬🍫🕷️🕸️🎃👻🦄

As some of our younger clients return back to school this week, we would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who has kept us so busy throughout the summer holidays. We have thoroughly enjoyed educating you all in the horse world! 🐴
Our younger students had a great time at saddle club learning all about grooming, plaiting, points of the pony and our day to day care of our ponies here at Linden Farm. 🌟🦄☀️ we can’t wait to see you all at the next one!
We will be holding saddle club during the next school half term (last week of October) for those of you that would like to book on, keep an eye out for our confirmed dates.

We have availability to take on new clients that would like to learn how to horse ride. We offer lessons for all horse riding abilities whether that be a beginner, intermediate or an advanced rider. Our lessons are tutored by BHS qualified instructors and are held throughout the week, making it easy for everyone to find a time that suits them. On weekdays, we run sessions for adults from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm—perfect for those with flexible schedules or time off during the day. After school, from 3:00 pm into the evening, we hold lessons designed especially for children, giving them the chance to learn, practice, and have fun after their school day. We also run lessons on weekends, providing opportunities for both adults and children to enjoy riding together or in their own tailored sessions.

Not forgetting, we offer treks for both children and adults of all riding abilities, with shorter, steadier rides available for beginners and longer, faster rides for experienced riders.

🎃👻October Half Term Saddle Club 👻🎃

Thursday 31st October 2024
10:30am-1pm

Saddle club offers children aged 7 plus to learn about the day to day care of our horses.
There will be no riding as this is a structured day to learn more about the horses and how to care for them.

£30.00 per child

**This is for already existing clients only**

There will be a 20 minute break for children to have a drink and a snack so all children can bring some lunch with them. Children must wear sensible, warm clothing and wellies/boots. If you have your own riding hat and gloves, bring them along with you too!

It’s the last week of the school holidays and we have availability left for horse riding lessons with our BHS qualified instructors.

Lessons are open to both adults and children that are beginner riders, intermediate riders or advanced riders. (Walk/trot lessons and walk,trot,canter lessons available).
