Holmbridge CC Holmbridge Cricket Club, Nr Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. Formed in 1868, we have 2 adult teams playing in the Huddersfield Cricket League. Always welcome.

And 5 junior teams (U9, U11, U13, U15, U17) playing in the Huddersfield Junior Cricket League.

💙Sunday sees the thirds on their first travels. Heading over to Headingley to take on St Chad’s Broomfield CC Get yourself over and show some Holmbridge support.

💙 Next in the spotlight is Oliver Bowers.

🗓️ Oliver joined Holmbridge pre-covid and has made just shy of 100 appearances for the Bridge. A top order batsman, who this season, has scored his maiden ton for the club. A fine 120 away against Clayton West. Oliver is one of our team of amazing junior coaches, so far taking the under 9s and currently looking after the under 11s where his daughters both enjoy the game.

💙 Next up is our very own superfan, Liam Haigh.

🗓️ Liam joined Holmbridge in 2025, to play for his grandads team. Where he follows in the footsteps of his dad, his uncles, his brother and the legend himself, Haydn Haigh. Liam is a quiet lad who has cemented in place in the second XI this season, as well as helping the U17s with both bat and ball. Already scoring 170+ runs across all formats this season. Including a ‘brother beating’ 48 against Clayton West.
