Holmfirth Cricket Club are once again running the very successful All Stars 8 week programme for 5-7 year olds run by our very own coaches and activators. The next 8 week course starts very soon and we would love your child to join us. This is a great way for your child to make new friends, develop team skills and learn a new sport. Every child gets a free personalised All Stars playing shirt for signing up 🏏

We are hosting a family Christmas quiz night on the 8th of December. Please get in contact with us if you’d like to enter a team.

Our amazing U9’s played in a Champions of Champions final today at Lepton CC.
8 of the top Huddersfield teams competing to be crowned champions.
We only went and won it!!!
Such a great achievement for our 9’s who have worked so hard training throughout Winter & Summer and today it paid off.
Well done to all the teams taking part, the whole day was played with great spirit and enthusiasm.
I’m so proud to be part of Holmfirth Cricket Club and help coach these amazing young cricketers.
Thank you to Lepton for hosting, and all the volunteers who made today possible 👏.

Holmfirth always welcome new players, we run All Stars & Dynamos (softball) and Hardball age groups 11’s,13’s,15’s & 17’s as well as our girls/ladies team the Hurricanes.

These U9’s are incredible! Another tournament, another final but this time they were triumphant and took the win!!
They work so hard together, all involved, (some not able to play today) all play a huge part in this amazing U9’s Holmfirth Team.
I’m proud (say it every week) to be one of their coaches.

There is no stopping our U9’s! 4th tournament today at Scholes CC and yet another final reached.
Unfortunately we just fell short to the home team Scholes but came a very respectable 2nd place.
These kids are going from strength to strength , I’m so proud to be their coach!
we go again next week.

3rd tournament today for our U9’s, this time Thongsbridge were the hosts.
Two very close matches against Thongsbridge and Upperthong saw us reach our 3rd final in a row, our appointments being Rastrick.
Unfortunately we fell short by only 5 runs finishing the runners up today. So proud of these players, they worked so hard together in the heat, listened and encouraged all the way.
We are lucky to have such an amazing and talented group of young cricketers, the future is looking very bright for the club.

2nd tournament today for our U9’s at Rastrick this morning and they only went and won!!
3 wins out of 3 and an extremely close final against BarkIsland and we won by 1 run!
So, so proud of them, worked hard, listened and were a team who supported both on and off the field.
