Our final Player of the Match posts for this season both went to the captains in our Saturday 1st and 2nd XI fixtures. For our Sunday XI Zach took the award for an impressive 4 wicket haul.
Rory finished off a very successful season with the bat, taking his season total to 775 runs at an average of 45.59, scoring 7 scores of 50+.
David picked up 2 wickets and scored 45 runs and has also had an impressive season finishing on 44 wickets at an average of 14.39.

Oh no! The last weekend of the season.
The last Saturday games see the 1st XI away to Meltham. Being just 1 point of a promotion spot it's all to play for. Our 2nd XI finish at home against league leaders Flockton.
The final game of the season is our Sunday XI at home against Holmfirth. Come down and support the teams and let's finish in style.

Charity fundraiser ends at Thongsbrdge CC

Come and celebrate Pete Brammah's achievement on Saturday 19th at 4pm onwards. Bar will be open to celebrate the end of his challenges.

This Sunday, September 13th, Pete commences his 7 in 7 for 7 Challenge which culminates at TCC next weekend.

Supported by different friends for each of the challenges over the week he'll be raising funds in support of 7 local charities: The Kirkwood Hospice, Forget Me Not Trust, Laura Crane Trust, Fresh Futures, Huddersfield Mission, Age Concern Calderdale and Kirklees Alzheimer’s Society

Challenges are:
🚶2 day Hike to Peak District
🚴2 day Cycle Ride to East Yorkshire
🚶2 day Canal path Walk
🤖 1 day Fancy Dress Walk around the Holme Valley

ALL challenges will be 7 hours each day!!

The 1st XI won in style on Saturday with Numan the pick of the team, involved in 7 of the 10 wickets taken!

The 2nd team lost at Cartworth Moor where Craig Murphy took a brilliant 6 wickets. Alongside Craig's great performance we were also proud to see another 2 of our juniors make their 2nd team debut, taking the total number of juniors who've played Saturday cricket this season for us to 14!
