A big day for the club yesterday. 👊

Every single one of them home-grown from day one.

What an incredible achievement and a testament to the consistency, dedication and hard work they’ve all put in over the years. Promotions are never given lightly, and each one represents countless hours on the mats, ups and downs, challenges overcome and lessons learned.

A special mention has to go to Ash on receiving his Black Belt.

An exceptional achievement and one that has been years in the making. Ash has consistently shown up, pushed himself through the tough days and played a huge part in helping those around him improve too. His influence on the room extends far beyond his own training.

Congratulations to everyone promoted yesterday. Very well deserved and we’re excited to see what comes next. 🔥

A huge weekend for Samir at the IBJJF London Open, bringing home 🥈 Silver in the Gi and 🥉 Bronze in the No-Gi.

The medals are great, but what stood out most was the level of performance. Match after match, Samir showed composure, technical quality and a growing confidence in his game. He’s truly starting to come into his own as a competitor.

Like any journey, there will be plenty more highs and lows along the way, but that’s all part of the process. Right now, every competition is simply preparation for the bigger goal ahead, the IBJJF European No-Gi Championships in October.

Huge congratulations to Liam and Bodie at the weekend!! 🥈👏

Silver medal for Liam at the British Open!
Stepping onto that stage and bringing home silver is a huge accomplishment at that level.🥋

Double silver for Bodie, only his second competition! At just 5 years old, Bodhi stepped up against a kid 2 years older, won his first match, and battled all the way through in both Gi and NoGi. What heart, determination, and courage shown on the mats, never giving up and fighting until the very end. 💪🔥

The future is looking very bright for these two young warriors.

A massive shout out to Grace for her first ever gold medal. Anyone who’s watched Grace compete knows it’s not always been easy. Plenty of tough matches, ups and downs, tears, frustration and moments where it would’ve been easier to give in. But she kept showing up, kept trusting the process and believed in herself and us as coaches.

No shortcuts. No chasing quick fixes. Just consistency, effort and passion.

As amazing as this weekend was, we also know there’ll be tough weekends again in the future and that’s part of competition and growth. The quicker you accept that, the less pressure and burden you put on yourself.

Proud of every single person who stepped on the mats this weekend 👏
