🍷 LOVE W**E… BUT NOT CHEESE? NO PROBLEM! 🍷

We’ve had a few people ask whether you need to be a cheese lover to enjoy our upcoming tasting evening — and the answer is absolutely not! 🙌

The star of the evening is very much the W**E 🍷

We’re welcoming Czerwiks to Scholes Cricket Club, who’ll guide us through six different w**es — 3 whites and 3 reds — with a selection of cheeses available to complement the w**es for those who’d like to try the pairings.

🧀 Don’t like cheese? You can simply skip it!
🍷 You’ll still enjoy the full guided w**e tasting
🍺 Plus a b**r palate-breaker along the way

You don’t need to know anything about w**e either. This is all about trying something new, finding out what you like and having a really enjoyable Saturday night with friends. 🥂

🌦️ 150th Anniversary Celebrations – A Little Change of Plan! 🎉

Due to the unpredictable weather, we’ve had to make a few slight changes to our 150th Anniversary celebrations, but the fun is still very much going ahead! 🥳

🎶 This evening: We still have our fantastic singer performance by Stacey Rhodes, with food available to purchase from 7pm

🎉 Sunday: The club will be open from 1pm, live football from 2pm, sweet stall, children’s games and tattoos.
3pm Play Your Cards Right is back
4pm The Fantastic Ginger Brown playing a great selection of music finishing the night off with Mason Whittle with food also available to purchase.

🏏 Monday: Scholes Vs Hepworth 1pm start with food available to purchase

🍺 Over the weekend: Our B**r Festival, supplied by Three Fiends, will now be available to purchase from the inside bar.

🐾⚽ Zach’s Dachshund Rescue Fundraiser! 🐾

Zach, one of Scholes U11s, is hosting a fundraiser to raise money for Dachshund Rescue UK ❤️

There’s going to be a fantastic evening with something for everyone, including:

⚽ A penalty shootout against Zach, who’ll be dressed as a Dachshund!
🎶 Live Music from the Jam Factory
🎯 Games and fundraising activities
🌭 The Singing Pineapple Catering - Gourmet Hot Dog Hut
🎟️ Raffle & tombola with some amazing prizes
