USE IT OR LOSE IT.
Meet Pat. 82 years young. 🧡
If you want to keep using your body, you have to keep using it.
Pat has told us that some of her friends think she shouldn’t be going to the gym at “her age.”
We couldn’t disagree more.
At 82, Pat is still turning up, getting on the cardio equipment, lifting weights and doing exercises that help her maintain her strength, mobility, balance and fitness.
And that’s what training is really about as we get older.
It’s not about lifting the heaviest weight in the gym.
It’s not about chasing PBs.
It’s about keeping your body capable of doing the things you want it to do.
Regular physical activity in older adults can help maintain muscle strength and physical function, support cardiovascular health, improve balance and reduce the risk of falls. Resistance training is particularly important because we naturally lose muscle and strength as we age.
And perhaps most importantly…
Being older doesn’t mean you should stop moving.
In fact, it’s one of the reasons you should keep moving.
So whether you’re 22, 42, 62 or 82 like Pat — there’s a place for you at Royals.
Start where you are.
Do what you can.
Keep moving.
Because as Pat knows…
USE IT OR LOSE IT. 💪
