Hoddesdon Town Centre: Temporary Closures and Disruptions
Please be aware of the following temporary changes taking place in Hoddesdon during September due to a project in the town centre.
🚧 Road Closures – Tuesday 23 September (5am to 8pm):
The following roads will be closed with diversions in place:
• Amwell Street
• High Street (between Conduit Lane & Brewery Road/Amwell Street junction)
• Brewery Road (between High Street junction and Sainsbury’s)
• Burford Street (between High Street junction and Morrisons)
• Bell Lane
• Pauls Lane
🅿️ Parking Suspensions:
• On-street parking suspended on High Street, Amwell Street, Burford Street, Lord Street, Brewery Road and Conduit Lane – Tuesday 23 September
• Burford Street car park – reduced spaces 15–21 September and 24–26 September, closed fully 22–23 September
• Lido car park – closed 22–23 September (except free section)
🚕 Taxi Rank:
• The taxi rank will move to Conduit Lane on Tuesday 23 September from 5am to 8pm
🚌 Buses:
• Buses will not be stopping at Hoddesdon Amwell St Clock Tower Stops A and B, but will be stopping at Hoddesdon Brewery Road Sainsbury’s Stops C and D, and Hoddesdon High Street Brocket Rd.
🚶 Street Furniture and Pedestrian Access:
• Benches, bins and other street furniture around the Clock Tower will be temporarily removed. Pedestrian access may be restricted at times.
