We are really proud of our boys, the pre-season has been amazing for us.

For pre-season we took on Prem teams, teams we will come up against in the upcoming season and played teams a year older than us.

We are really happy with how pre-season has gone and how well they’ve done - showed they can punish lesser opposition, showed they can beat Prem level opposition and showed they can deal with an older, physically larger team - hopefully this pre season has put us in a really strong position for our league campaign 💪🏼

💙 U13 Blacks – Character, Class and Big Performances All Over the Pitch 💙

The U13 Blacks delivered another brilliant performance today, beating a strong Panshanger side 2–1 in a proper end‑to‑end battle. Two friendlies this week, two comeback wins — this group just refuses to fold. The desire, the mentality, the togetherness… it’s exactly what you want to see at this stage of the season.

And today, a few lads absolutely stood out.

The hardest job on the pitch, and today he owned it.
Confident. Composed. Brave.
His shot‑stopping was top class, and his distribution set the tone for how we played out from the back. He kept us in the game when it mattered and showed exactly why he’s our No.1. Brilliant performance.

Z. Robertson‑Lowe – Our Rolls Royce at the Back
Absolute class from start to finish.
He scared us all with that knee knock, but the moment he got back on, he settled straight into his stride and bossed the back line. Calm, dominant, intelligent defending — he made everything look effortless. A real leader’s performance.

R. Alligan – Defensive Warrior
Another defender stepping up massively today.
Strong in the tackle, smart in his positioning, and won some vital challenges that kept us in control. His strength, timing and composure were outstanding. He absolutely smashed it today — well deserved recognition.

Todays match report from Coach Steve
Hoddesdon U15 Blacks had their last pre-season game against Panshanger Pumas.
At 2-0 down it was looking very bleak.
We changed formation and went from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2 and made into HT at 3-2 up.
Final score 5-2.

This was our best win of the season with the manner we won this with no subs and being 2-0 down on a hot day.

Goals were from AH2, JR2 & OH1.
MoM HS.
All players should be very proud of their achievement today.💪

⚽️U13 Blacks – Champions Last Season, Statement Makers This Season⚽️

What a way to start our new campaign. Fresh off being last season’s league winners, the U13 Blacks stepped into their first friendly of the year and delivered a brilliant 6–2 win against a very strong Ware side.

We’ve had some tight, hard‑fought games with Ware in the past, and with a few players moving on over the summer, this was a real test of how our refreshed team would gel. The answer? They were outstanding. Every single player deserves a shoutout — the work rate, the attitude, the togetherness… absolutely superb.
A few well‑earned shoutouts:

- Jake – Dominated the midfield, destroyed the wing, and genuinely didn’t stop all game. Assisted almost every goal, caused chaos every time he drove forward, and set the tempo for the whole team. Outstanding shift.

- William – His work rate up top was ridiculous. Non‑stop pressing, non‑stop running, and capped it off with a brilliant goal on his left foot after beating almost the entire defence. Pure determination.

- Albie – The last few weeks he’s shown nothing but desire, hunger and ability. Today he was everywhere — winning headers, getting stuck into every challenge, and proving again that he’s a success story waiting to happen. Absolutely brilliant.

- David – Our newest signing, and what a talent he is. Slotted straight into the team, showed class with every touch, and played with confidence way beyond his first appearance. A huge addition to the squad.

This wasn’t just a win — it was a message.
A reminder of what this group can achieve together.

Another great display against Wormley who finished 5th in Div 6 last season.
Final score 5-1 with MoM display jointly with GR & JR
Great display from the defence , looked much tighter. Great keeping and unlucky not to have a clean sheet.
