Match Report – U10 Girls 25/04/2026 our final game of the season ⚽️

What a fantastic performance from the girls, producing a dominant display from start to finish while showing great teamwork and a real enjoyment for the game on a beautiful sunny day.

From the first whistle, the team took control and played with confidence, energy, and determination. Every player contributed, working hard for each other and showing excellent teamwork all over the pitch. The passing was sharp, movement was clever, and the girls constantly supported one another in both attack and defence.

The team created chance after chance through some brilliant football, moving the ball quickly and playing with real purpose. It was wonderful to watch the girls express themselves, smiling, encouraging each other, and enjoying every moment of the game.

Defensively, they were just as impressive. Whenever the opposition tried to break forward, the girls reacted quickly, won the ball back, and stayed organised as a unit. Their work rate and commitment meant they stayed in control throughout.

What stood out most was how much the girls enjoyed playing. In the sunshine, with great attitudes and plenty of enthusiasm, they played with freedom and confidence, making it a pleasure to watch from the sidelines.

As it was the final game of the season, the celebrations continued after the final whistle with a bow out to the parents and a fun water fight to help everyone cool off in the warm weather. It was the perfect way to end a brilliant season together, full of smiles, laughter, and team spirit.

Overall, it was a dominant team performance full of quality, teamwork, and enjoyment.

A huge well done to parents POTM Ellie and a brilliant effort from everyone involved today hence why the whole team received the Manager’s POTM today well done girls! ⭐️

Match Report – U10 Girls 11/04/2026 (apologies we have had a busy couple of weeks)

This game was all about teamwork, and without doubt it was the best the girls have ever played collectively as a team. From the first whistle to the last, every player worked for each other, supported one another, and showed exactly what can be achieved when everyone plays together.

Against a tough and highly competitive opposition, the girls stayed calm and focused, playing some excellent clean football throughout. They moved the ball brilliantly, looked to pass whenever possible, and showed great confidence in possession. Their movement off the ball was outstanding, always giving teammates options and helping build attacks in a positive way.

Defensively, the whole team worked tirelessly. Every player tracked back, battled for the ball, and supported each other when under pressure. The determination and communication across the pitch were excellent, helping the team stay organised against a strong opponent.

Going forward, the teamwork continued to shine. The girls created chances through clever passing, strong runs, and unselfish play. It was a joy to watch how they trusted each other and played with real togetherness.

Most importantly, this was a performance full of effort, attitude, and unity. Against a difficult side, the girls showed how much they are improving and delivered their strongest team display to date.

A fantastic performance and one to be very proud of well done girls!

Match Report – U10 Girls 28/03/2026

It was a fantastic all round performance from the team today, showcasing both strong defensive organisation and exciting attacking play.

From the very first whistle, the girls showed great determination and focus. Defensively, they were solid throughout, working brilliantly as a unit. The back line stayed compact, made crucial tackles, and communicated well to limit the opposition’s chances. Whenever pressure built, the team remained calm, clearing their lines effectively and supporting each other brilliantly.

In midfield, the energy and teamwork were outstanding. The players tracked back to help defend and quickly transitioned into attack, moving the ball forward with confidence. Their passing improved as the game went on, helping the team control possession and dictate the tempo.

Going forward, the attacking play was a real highlight. The girls showed great creativity, using the width of the pitch and making intelligent runs. This led to several excellent goal-scoring opportunities. The finishing was clinical. Well done to our goal scorers Isabelle and Maia today ⚽️

Overall, it was a complete team performance with every player contributing. The effort, attitude, and sportsmanship on display were excellent, and the result was a true reflection of the hard work put in both in training and on match day. Well done to our parents POTM Zoe and Managers POTM Astrid.

U10 Girls Match Report 21/03/2026

A really positive performance from the girls today, showing great progress in their passing, organisation, and overall skill. From the first whistle, the team worked brilliantly together against a tough opposition, putting in a strong first-half display. The passing was sharp, players held their positions well, and there was a clear sense of teamwork across the pitch.

The second half proved more challenging, with a few mistakes creeping in that ultimately cost us. However, these moments are all part of the learning process, and there is plenty to take away and improve on moving forward.

Most importantly, it was fantastic to see so many happy faces at the final whistle. The girls are gaining valuable game time each week, building confidence and experience with every match.

Lots to be proud of today on to the next one! ⚽👏

U10 Match Report

The girls put in a fantastic all-round performance today in the sunshine 🌞, with solid defending, hardworking midfield and strength and resilience from our striker.

From the first whistle, the team showed great focus and teamwork. The defence was outstanding throughout, staying organised, calm on the ball, and quick to close down space.

Every player worked hard to protect the goal, making smart tackles and clearing danger effectively.

In midfield, the girls were brilliant. They worked tirelessly to win possession, support each other, and move the ball forward with confidence, which was shown with the red faces at the end of the game showing how hard they had worked. Their passing and positioning helped control the game and create chances for the attack.

Up front, the forward showed great energy and determination, pressing the opposition and taking their opportunities well. Excellent teamwork was shown, with players supporting each other and our striker showing confidence in front of goal.

Overall, this was a strong team performance built on great effort, communication, and positivity. Every player played their part, and the result reflected the hard work put in during training and most importantly they all said they had fun 🤩

So huge congratulations to Emily for being awarded parents POTM and Maia for Managers POTM as they both worked so tirelessly throughout the whole game and made a great impact to the game 🥳 Big well done to our goal scorer Amèlie showing strength and composure up front ⚽️

Catshill U10 Girls Match Report

Well done today girls, you were absolutely fabulous! From start to finish the team showed great effort, determination, and brilliant teamwork. Everyone worked really hard to hold their positions, which made a big difference to the way we played. There were lots of lovely passages of play, with players looking to set each other up and support one another across the pitch. It was a fantastic all round team performance🫶

The smaller number of players really highlighted how much their fitness has improved. They all kept going, worked for each other, and never gave up a performance to be really proud of.

A special well done to Isabelle, who was awarded the Manager’s Player of the Match. Not only scoring goals, she also showed great determination and battling spirit throughout the game.

Another big congratulations goes to Sophia, who received the Parents’ Player of the Match. Sophia put in a brilliant all round performance and did an excellent job playing in a variety of positions, showing great versatility and commitment to the team.

Match Report ⚽️

From the first whistle, this was a game that tested stamina, work rate, and mental strength. Despite missing a few players, the girls showed incredible determination and never let their energy drop.

Their high press forced errors, fitness levels were pushed, and every player worked tirelessly for the team. The midfield battled hard, the defence stayed resilient, and the goalkeeper’s organisation kept everyone focused.

Even as the game became more physical and legs grew tired, the girls never gave up continuing to press, chase, and compete until the final whistle.

Today’s match report ;-

It was a really strong first half performance from the girls, who stayed composed and played some brilliant football. They worked hard for one another, moved the ball well, and showed great determination from the first whistle.

In the second half, the team continued to battle impressively. Despite a few mistakes, heads never dropped, instead the girls showed resilience and a willingness to learn and improve. With several squad members unavailable, fitness levels were truly tested today, but the team rose to the challenge and remained strong and committed throughout.

The match was played in a fantastic spirit, with a friendly atmosphere and great respect shown by both teams on the pitch. It was a thoroughly enjoyable game to watch.

A huge congratulations to Parents’ Player of the Match, Zoe, who delivered an outstanding defensive performance, showing strength, composure, and consistency at the back. Congratulations also to Manager’s Player of the Match, Amèlie, whose versatility and 100% effort in every position she played made a real impact on the game.
