Another huge topic with all of our current situations.. our nutrition has often been the area to take the brunt of any stressful or new situation! Coming out of lockdown and bringing to exercise more we will be exerting more energy and in turn more calories! These calories need replacing.

During a fat loss phase itโ€™s not always just about a โ€œcalorie deficitโ€ yes itโ€™s the ๐”๐‹๐“๐ˆ๐Œ๐€๐“๐„ driving force but a lot of other things need attention too.โฃ

For example If youโ€™re eating things that donโ€™t agree with you and itโ€™s putting unessecary stress on your digestive system/gut then you might not see progress so quick.โฃ

Your stools might not be regular, you may get bloating, cramps after certain foods, everyone is different. You need to pay attention to this ideally before you go into a fat loss phase and know what suits you. The environment your body needs to be able drop body fat is important! โฃ

With Charlotte for example we do have to keep an eye on how she reacts to certain foods as she does have issues with stomach flare ups. However we mostly know now what works for her and what doesnโ€™t which is great and itโ€™s important you have a coach that can adapt your nutrition to suit you! โ˜บ๏ธ @ Hertfordshire

Just 2 months work and this client is feeling more comfortable and feels like she is getting her shape back - yay!

As she struggles with PCOS we had to adapt her nutrition to make sure her needs were met here, to me it is so important to know about my clients menstrual cycle/contraception and any health problems, health will always come first.

Even though some* clients with PCOS may experience a lower metabolic rate she lost 3.5cm around her belly button and 4.5cm around the hip area which is amazing!

So we just focused on getting her strong (she trains 2x per week with me) and changing some minor habits. Nutrition wise we havenโ€™t followed anything strict at all as thatโ€™s the way she prefers it, I just gave her some general advice! So she still eats out, goes out with friends and has a LIFE ๐Ÿ˜„โฃ

Also to note sheโ€™s v strong, getting on for a 300kg leg press, catching me up ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Back gains too๐Ÿ‘€ @ Hertfordshire

Consistency pays off, a lot of this progress was made during lockdown too๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

So nervous posting this, but Iโ€™m proud of the physical and mental changes Iโ€™ve been working so hard to achieve. Not quite decided on a goal weight but maybe another 7-11lbs to go

At the beginning of the year I was really unhappy with how I felt in myself and wasnโ€™t enjoying that Iโ€™d lost my motivation with the gym. The biggest change for me was working with a trainer ( ) who gave me much more structure in my workouts and that massively helped me get back into things, enjoying the physical and mental benefits

Although now that Iโ€™m going at it alone, I am enjoying the process so much and loving fuelling my body with all the right foods!! Lockdown has been tricky but Iโ€™ve enjoyed the extra time Iโ€™ve had to cook, but canโ€™t wait to get back in the gym

SWIPE for some insight! Unreal progress ๐Ÿ–ค A lot of girls will come to me not eating much at all thinking that is the way to their dream body! When Maisy came to me she was doing just that and then binging on takeaways and drinks at the weekend!

When I gave her a structured 7 day, 2 week meal plan and it had more food on it than she had ever consumed before she was scared and didnโ€™t understand she could feel full yet lose weight at the same time! She constantly was asking me โ€˜are you sure I should be eating this much?โ€™ And was even scared of using protein powder because she thought it would make her โ€˜bulk upโ€™ as a lot of girls do! Protein powder is nothing to be scared about itโ€™s just the same as eating some chicken or tuna however itโ€™s a lot more convenient and easy way to increase protein intake!

Maisy puts in the WORK though and it shows! She is still continuing to smash it through lockdown too and maintain and even better her physique. Yoga, barre, PT, hiit classes you name it sheโ€™s doing it ๐Ÿคฃ @ Hertfordshire
