The Pirton Summer Fair organising committee are absolutely thrilled to announce that it has been confirmed, only this morning, that we will be getting a fly past from a Spitfire during the show this Saturday 11th July.

Always much anticipated by the regular visitors to the Summer Fair, the Spitfire will be overhead at 1.09pm - just after the gates open! So make sure you head down to the Pirton Recreation Ground promptly for 1.00pm and look skyward to be the first to see it.

What a fantastic start to the Fair, just before the Pirton Community Choir kicks off the live music at 1.30pm.

This year we are welcoming another new addition to the Summer Fair 'Centre Ring' with an uplifting performance from the Garden City Samba Band.

Stepping into the ring at 2.00pm, The Garden City Samba Band will be bringing us half an hour of dynamic musical rhythms drawn from all corners of Brazil, each region contributing distinct rhythmic styles and cultural heritage.

Much to our delight there will also be a brief opportunity for audience participation so if you have ever wondered what the difference is between a Surdo and a Repique, or fancied trying your hand at the Agogo or the Chocalho, then make sure you are ringside at 2.00pm to enjoy the Samba beats - dancing along will be impossible to resist.

The countdown is on!! Just 5 days to go until the 2026 Pirton Summer Fair and with football fever now well and truly gripping the nation following last night's World Cup win against Mexico, we are thrilled to be welcoming Jay Rosa Professional Football Freestyler to the 'Centre Ring' to wow us all with his football tricks and tips.

The Canaries fans among you may have seen Jay perform recently at the Hitchin Town FC playoffs, and we are delighted that he is returning to Hertfordshire to provide us with another superb display of dynamic ball control and trickery, with a brief opportunity for budding footballers, young and old, to join in and give it a go.

Jay will take to the Centre Ring at 3.30pm so make sure you have your spot reserved to enjoy the show!
