The Fenland army of Drachenwald has been practising archery and sword skills every Saturday, ready for the summer season.

The gonfalons hung off the tower at Buckden Palace last weekend. The tower was built about 1480. The site is older but little survives from before the Tudor buildings. From left to right they represent Insulae Draconis, Drachenwald and Nordmark, two Principalities and a Kingdom within the SCA. And the finials stayed on.

I got out of the habit of posting whilst injured: couldn't do much besides research. First job since, fix the finials back on to the gonfalon poles in a way that hopefully will keep them on this time during Yule Ball. Ideally they do with a bit of paint, but not this time.
