⚽️ WE’RE HIRING! – ASSISTANT COACH ⚽️
Cheeky Champs Fundamental Football is looking for a new Assistant Coach to join our Saturday team! 💚
📍 Hindley
🕣 Saturdays: 8:30am–2:00pm
🎓 Year 10 and above
💷 Paid position following successful trials
This role would be perfect for someone who has a genuine interest in sport and coaching and is thinking about going on to study Sport, PE or Coaching at college, or is already studying within this area.
You don’t need lots of coaching experience — we’re looking for the right person with the right attitude who is keen to learn and develop.
We’re looking for someone who is:
⚽ Reliable and committed
⚽ Friendly, approachable and enthusiastic
⚽ Confident working with children, particularly younger children
⚽ Comfortable speaking to parents and other adults
⚽ Energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment
⚽ Willing to learn and take instructions
⚽ Happy to help set up equipment and activities
⚽ Interested in developing their coaching skills
The role involves helping to set up equipment and games, supporting children throughout sessions and working alongside our Lead Coach to deliver high-quality, fun and engaging football sessions for children under 5.
🌟 TWO-WEEK TRIAL PERIOD
Suitable applicants will be invited to attend trial sessions across:
📅 Saturday 26th September
📅 Saturday 3rd October
We feel two trial weeks are important so that you can make sure Cheeky Champs is somewhere you enjoy working, while also giving us the opportunity to make sure you are suitable for the role and work well with our children, parents and coaching team.
Following successful trials, there will be the opportunity to join us as a paid Assistant Coach from Saturday 10th October.
Any successful applicant who is under 16 will be employed in line with the relevant young worker and child employment regulations.
