How is it the last day already?! 🚵‍♀️☀️

We’ve had such a good week riding with Daisy and Elliot Finca El Moro. Lots of great trails, plenty of laughs and so lovely to meet new friends from Mexico 🇲🇽 and Switzerland 🇨🇭

The only downside is having to go home… especially when the sun’s shining and the UK is waiting for us! 😂

Thanks for a fab week, already want to come back! ❤️

What a BEAUTIFUL autumn day to get 6 groups of all ages and abilities out on their bikes! 🍂🚵‍♀️☀️

Saturdays are super busy at Off Root and we're running out of places with car parks big enough to cope with all the coming and going of these wonderful kids! 😂 They are SOOOOO much fun, energy and enthusiasm! ❤️

A massive thank you to all our brilliant instructors and our amazing DofE volunteers who help make it all happen. 🙌 Many of our volunteers have now qualified as MIAS Assistant Leaders, with the plan to go on and become fully qualified instructors when they turn 18. How brilliant is that?! 💪

So much more than just riding bikes ❤️🌳

Two very busy days with a brilliant bunch of people! 🚵‍♀️❤️

Our DofE volunteers gaining their MIAS Junior Assistant Leader qualification, alongside others working towards their Level 1 and Level 2. So lovely to see everyone learning, developing and gaining confidence.

One of the things I love most about Off Root is being able to give young people the opportunity to gain qualifications, get some proper work experience and be part of something bigger.

And having Anya there, who's been with me since my very first junior session and is now my Girl Ambassador, makes it all feel a bit full circle. 🥰

A lovely reminder of what a supportive community can grow into, with everyone learning from each other and helping the next lot come through.

Very proud of you all. And here's to the next generation of mountain bike leaders! 🚵‍♀️🙌❤️

What an absolutely amazing day at on Sunday ❤️

A massive thank you to Scott for setting up a taster trail that we could use for our youngest riders, and for those who wanted to have a go but found the thought of racing on the proper stages a little daunting.

And then came the wristbands 💛 Giving our first-timers a little extra time on the real stages meant they could ride without the pressure of worrying about being mowed down from behind — just a chance to have a go, enjoy it and find out what racing is all about.

And what a community we had…

From 4 years old to 60+, everyone having a go. Our DofE volunteers were racing themselves but still taking the time to support and encourage the younger first-timers. Instructors, husbands of instructors, dads, friends and riders all stepping in to chaperone, support and cheer everyone on.

It was just one of those days that reminded me why I love what we do. ❤️

So much loveliness, support, friendship, kindness and sharing the love of riding.

Grass roots has to start somewhere… and this felt like the perfect place to start. 🌱🚵‍♀️

Massive thank you to everyone who made it such a special day. You all absolutely smashed it. I love you all 🥰

The evenings are definitely drawing in… 🌅🚲

Lights are now needed for Tuesday night’s Bike n B**r rides — but that can only mean one thing… 🍂🔥

There are log fires and cosy pubs waiting for us afterwards! 🔥🍺

So grab your lights, wrap up warm and come and ride your way into autumn with us.

Because the nights might be getting darker, but the fun definitely isn’t! 💪🚵‍♀️

🎒 The kids are back… which means the bikes are back too! 🚵‍♀️🚵‍♂️

Our junior rides are back up and running, getting the kids back out on the trails, riding with their mates, building skills and having fun.

But it’s not just the kids… 👀

With the start of the new school term, our adult FOMO rides are back too, alongside our regular weekly adult rides.

So whether you’re dropping the kids off at their ride, getting out for your own ride, or making it a family affair…

There really is no excuse for anyone in the family not to get out and ride! 😂🚵‍♀️🌲

Kids riding. Parents riding. Everyone happier. ❤️
