Today’s result didn’t go our way again, however with this team being made up of players that only been together 10 weeks I’m happy with what I’m seeing.
North kilworth were a good test today they’re a very strong team.
Hinckley found the first half hard work as we didn’t settle very quickly, with two goals going in that should have been easily been avoided , silly mistakes and the opposition just taking the chance.
As the game went on Hinckley got into their game and rhythm and started moving the ball around well , showed some confidence and pushed forward more. Due to this we were awarded with our goal , we had a few chances throughout the game and were unlucky to just score the one today.
Hinckley will take a weeks break and enjoy watching the junior teams playing next Sunday. After the break we will have a full squad available for the first time due to injuries and holidays, the first two games have been far from ideal , but credit to the ladies for pushing to the last moment even if they felt like that had nothing left to give , the character of this squad is amazing and will make a brilliant team, remember we are brand new , and things take time!
Our next game is at Home against Leicester City Dev and hopefully will be a different outcome and we can get points on the board.
