☀️ Warm Weather Training This Week ☀️
Guys, it’s going to be warm at the studios this week!
I’ll be doing everything I can to keep the training environment as cool and comfortable as possible, and I may adapt sessions based on the weather conditions. This means there could be some tweaks to your usual workouts to help everyone train safely and effectively.
To help you get the most from your session, please come prepared:
💧 Stay Hydrated
* Start hydrating well before your workout, not just during it.
* Bring plenty of water with you—more than you think you’ll need.
* If you’re training intensely or sweating heavily, consider adding electrolytes to help replace minerals lost through sweat.
👕 Dress for the Heat
* Wear lightweight, breathable clothing.
* Choose moisture-wicking fabrics such as polyester blends, nylon, bamboo, or technical sports fabrics designed to pull sweat away from the skin.
* Avoid heavy cotton where possible, as it can hold moisture and feel uncomfortable when wet.
🧊 Keep Cool
* Bring a small towel to help manage sweat and keep yourself comfortable.
* If possible, avoid rushing to the studio already overheated—give yourself a few minutes to cool down before class starts.
🚰 Bring Extra Water
* Having a spare bottle can make a big difference during longer sessions or particularly hot days. Add ice to bottles/freeze your water (now- tonight) so it’s stays cooler for longer. Use insulated bottles to if you can.
🧼 Studio Etiquette
* Please wipe down any equipment after use, especially if you’ve been sweating heavily.
* This helps keep the studio clean, hygienic, and comfortable for everyone.
⚠️ Listen to Your Body
* It’s completely okay to reduce intensity, take extra rest breaks, or let me know if you’re feeling unusually hot, dizzy, or unwell.
* Training smart is always more important than pushing through discomfort.
Let’s work together to stay safe, hydrated, and enjoy our training despite the heat. Thank you for your cooperation, and I’ll see you in the studio! 💪☀️
