Summer 'Acting Through Song' Workshop
For all young performers who love Musical Theatre, this workshop has been fully crafted for you! Singing in tune is one thing, but delivering a convincing performance which expresses emotion and moves an audience is quite another! Make sure you're 'audition ready' at the drop of a 🎩
Acting through song is the technique of combining vocal performance with deep emotional storytelling, using lyrics and music to portray a character's journey rather than just singing on key. It involves applying acting methods—such as intention, objective, and subtext—to song lyrics, treating them as monologues to create a compelling, honest performance.
