Our new programme launches next week. Have you checked out our new Skills and Drills session on Thursday nights with Josh Roberts.

We expect this to be a really popular session, so make sure you book your spot before it sells out.

Here is your new Autumn programme. Starting Tuesday 2nd September.

✅ Tuesday 6pm - Advanced with Josh/PLUS social Open Play
✅ Wednesday 6pm - Organised social play every week. 90 minutes of organised matches
✅ Thursday 6pm - Skills and Drills. A new coaching session for all run by Josh supported by Kieran
✅ Friday 6pm - Nuneaton coached sessions are back!
✅ Saturday 9am Juniors/9am Social Open Play - plus once a month watch out for a variety of other special sessions, such as matchplays , ladder leagues, cardio pickleball and more!!

What a fantastic week at the English Open in Birmingham for Hinckley Town Pickleball Club!

So many players, supporters, friends (old and new)!

So many experiences to log in the memory banks. Gaz's headband, Rachel's gold medal, Ashleigh's first competition, Ellie-May's sweaty hugs, Alexandra and Sheena's boundless positivity, Terri and Louise's tears, Josh's hypersonic shots, we could go on and on. Apologies to those we have missed!

But what a week. The pictures don't do the week justice. Just one of the best weeks in the short history of this club.

If you want memories, hugs, friendship and a bit of sport, we are just the place for you!

Club Spotlight: Gail & Malc 🏓

How can we separate these two?

Ever since picking up a paddle, Gail and Malc have embraced pickleball with real gusto, becoming familiar faces at club sessions and competitions alike.

Malc brings a touch of class to the court with his silky left-handed drives and wicked slices that keep opponents guessing. Gail is everywhere, covering every inch of the court with her dynamic all-court game, energy and determination. Individually they're impressive, but together they make a formidable partnership.

Their hard work and dedication recently paid off with their first tournament medal, bringing home a fantastic silver medal at Courtside. A well-deserved achievement and, we're sure, the first of many.

Both have come on tremendously since they first joined the club. They play regularly, work tirelessly on developing their games and are now getting out and competing more and more. Their progress is a great example of what commitment, enthusiasm and a positive attitude can achieve.

They're a real credit to Hinckley Town Pickleball Club, and we're proud to have them representing us.

Congratulations Gail and Malc, and well done on that silver medal! 👏🥈🏓

From Tuesday 14th July - we move to our awesome new home at the Redmoor Academy in Hinckley.

New timetable - more hours - bigger variety of sessions - something for everyone!

🌟 Player Spotlight: Paul Wheatcroft 🌟

One of the longest-standing members of Hinckley Town Pickleball Club, Paul has been part of the journey from the early days - and what a player he continues to be 💪🎾

Having overcome injury and become something of a miracle of modern science, Paul’s energy, determination and competitive spirit are as strong as ever. Often spotted arriving at club sessions on his bicycle 🚴‍♂️, he brings the same relentless work ethic and enthusiasm onto the pickleball court every single week.

Tricky, energetic and always great fun to play with, Paul is a huge character within the club and a fantastic competitor. He has proudly represented HTPC in matches and continues to be a real credit to the club both on and off court 👏

And if he’s not playing pickleball? You’ll probably find him out on the rugby pitch too 🏉

We’re incredibly proud to have Paul as part of HTPC - thank you for everything you bring to the club. What a player 🙌
