Not long now until this year's Club Championships!! An email has been sent out with accepted entries and some important information.

Timings for the first weekend are as follows:

Saturday - Arrive by 5.30pm - Warm up starts 5.40pm - Racing starts 6.10pm - Racing finishes 7.14pm

Sunday - Arrive by 4.20pm - Warm up starts 4.30pm - Racing starts 5.00pm - Racing finishes 6.05pm

Thank you to Petals Therapy for last night's Neurodiversity and communication training. The session explored neurodiversity sensory processing and communication as well as practical strategies to help us better understand and support the different needs of our swimmers.

It was a great evening with lots of really useful information to support coaches, team managers and officials!

This Thursday, we’re pleased to be welcoming Petals Therapy to Hinckley Swimming Club to deliver an Introduction to Neurodiversity & Communication training session for our helpers.

The session will begin to explore neurodiversity, sensory processing and communication, with some practical strategies to help us better understand and support the different needs of our swimmers.

📅 Thursday 3rd September
📍 Hinckley Leisure Centre
⏰ Arrival from 6:45pm | 7:00pm start

If you volunteer with HSC, you should already have received information about the session.

The training is open to all of our coaches, swimming teachers, young assistant coaches, team managers, liaisons and officials — so if you haven’t received the details but would like to attend, please get in touch!

Lots of our swimmers had a fab time at Cliffe Lakes today for a Summer Swim Social.

Massive thank you to Sally Singh for organising such a fab event. It went an absolute storm! Not sure how training is going to go tonight 🙈

Save the date!!

Preparations for Hinckley Swimming Club’s Annual Presentation and Awards evening are well underway, and we are very excited to once again celebrate another fantastic year of swimming with you all.

Tickets will be priced at £5 each (under 4’s free) and will be on sale at the entrance desk during Club Champs, then around the Leisure Centre during Tuesday’s and Sunday’s training session. Please come and see Dawn or Becki, who will be selling them.

Congratulations to Logan on his successful debut at Welsh Nationals!!

Logan made the final in every event he swam and finished in the top eight for all his events! A huge achievement and some incredible swimming. Well done Logan!!

Today marks the start of an exciting new chapter for Hinckley Swimming Club.
We are incredibly proud to officially welcome our new Head Coach, Robin Surgeoner, as he begins his full-time role with us today.

From today, you'll see Robin poolside, working with our swimmers and getting to know everyone across the club. Please join us in giving him a warm Hinckley welcome as he embarks on this exciting journey with us.

We are all looking forward to the future and can't wait to see what Robin will bring to the club as we continue to grow, develop, and achieve together.
