🌟 GOOD LUCK LOLA! 🌟

After many years at TDA, we are proud to see Lola Hitchen begin her professional training at Shockout on the two-year FDA Intensive Musical Theatre course 🎭.

Lola has been a significant part of TDA, developing into a talented performer and taking on amazing roles like Éponine in Les Misérables. While it’s bittersweet to see her move on, this is the culmination of her years of training and performances.

We are proud of you, Lola, and hope you have an amazing two years at Shockout. Enjoy every opportunity – we’ll be cheering you on from TDA! ❤️🌟

✨ TDA ALUMNI NEWS – AMIE SHIPLEY ✨

We are incredibly proud of TDA alumni Amie Shipley, who recently took to the stage of the iconic Royal Albert Hall as part of this year’s BBC Proms! 🎭🌟

Amie performed with the National Youth Music Theatre in Enchanted: Alan Menken’s Music for Disney, celebrating some of the most-loved music from Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, Tangled, Enchanted, Newsies and more. 🏰✨

She performed alongside the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and an incredible line-up of West End stars including Lucie Jones, Marisha Wallace, Ben Forster, Celinde Schoenmaker, Sam Oladeinde and Stewart Clarke.

What an amazing experience to perform on the Royal Albert Hall stage as part of the BBC Proms – and another very proud moment for us seeing a former TDA student continuing to achieve such exciting things! ❤️

We’re so excited to wish former TDA student Josh the very best of luck as he begins the next chapter of his training at PPA, studying for a BA (Hons) Singing and Acting degree! 🌟
Josh trained with us for several years and gave us some brilliant performances along the way, including taking on the lead roles of Richie Walters in A Chorus Line and Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls.
It has been wonderful to watch Josh grow in confidence and develop as a performer during his time with TDA, and we’re incredibly proud to see him now taking this next step towards a career in the industry.

Enjoy every minute, Josh! We can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you. ❤️🎭

We hope you’ve all had a fantastic summer because we are SO excited to welcome everyone back for another brilliant term at The Drama Academy! 🎭🌟

📅 Classes return Saturday 29th August
👕 Uniform reminder: Please make sure students come to class in their TDA uniform. We’ll also be taking photos to celebrate our fantastic LAMDA results! 📸🏆
🌟 WEST END CAST: We’ll be taking our cast photo on Saturday 29th August or Thursday 3rd September – so please make sure you’re there and looking smart!
🎭 TDA OnStage – The Addams Family rehearsals return Saturday 5th September

On Monday, we had the pleasure of celebrating with two very special members of the TDA teaching team, Lauren and Kyle, on their wedding day! 💒 From performing together for over 10 years to standing side by side at the altar, we couldn’t be prouder of them! It was a special day for a special couple. Wishing you both all the best for a fantastic future together, filled with love, laughter, and of course, musical theatre!
