We have secured Army Recruiting & Training Division (ARTD) contract for Powerbag®
The 3 year ARTD contract is to supply and maintain PSSR bespoke Powerbags® and Test/Lifting platforms suitable for storage of the Powerbags®. Equipment will be installed across the Army’s 17 National PSSR testing sites.
The Physical Selection Standards Recruits (PSSR) predicts applicants likelihood of achieving physical output standards at the completion of Phase 1 training. A recent MOD study made a number of recommendations to the PSSR process. The main change is to remove a number of predictive tests and associated equipment and replace them with a specific Representative Military Task which will involve lifting specially designed Powerbags® of 6 weights onto a platform to a height of 1.45m.
Leisure Lines designed equipment solutions to meet these requirements and successfully tendered for the contract.
