Something that people will argue over until the end of time....⁣⁣

Over my years, I have trained in many different ways with different splits trying to achieve different goals...⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Personally now I take an element from everything I have done and mould it together to create a fun filled hybrid training plan that I know works and I can follow with ease... ⁣⁣

Its the same with my clients.. I find what they like... I use what works and we glue all the bits together and create something fun, simple and effective....WINNING!🏆⁣⁣

The truth of it is, you shouldn't get stuck in a rut or in a guessing game when it comes to what works best, theres more than one way to skin a cat as they say...⁣⁣

Push, Pull, Legs is a great split for building muscle but then again so is an Upper, Lower split 🤙💪⁣⁣

Full body workouts are fantastic for building muscle and burning fat.... but so is a Bro / Bodybuilding split if you are using super sets and intensifiers🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♂️⁣⁣

Having those difficult conversations with yourself is where the journey of self growth begins..📈⁣


I was often too scared to be honest with myself, my process was 'Im not happy, I need to change my external circumstances'.... ⁣

It rarely changed my situation for the better.... If anything, these choices made me unhappier!⁣


I should have looked inside, not blaming things around me or pushing loved ones away...🫣⁣

With a majority of media pushing the products they are paid to promote, what supplements are acrually needed and what supplements are just a gimmick get crossed over...⁣

I've not always been this happy with my body and fitness...⁣
Infact there’s been multiple times throughout my life where I have really struggled 😩⁣


Through different periods of time, I’ve struggled for motivation and felt helpless, I've lived on diets of sausage rolls, chocolate and sandwiches, I’ve had periods of drinking alcohol 5 out of 7 nights a week...🙈🙈⁣

From being overweight and unmotivated, feeling lost and not knowing what to do to get myself back into shape (physically and mentally), I’ve been so down that I hated the person I seen in the mirror, having months of training and not seeing results, then there’s being scared to make changes in my life for what people would think of me or the crippling fear of what if I failed,⁣
you name it when it comes to transforming my physique and lifestyle and I have been through it.....⁣


But I just knew something in me had to change one day.. so I committed and I created an easy to follow plan to ensure there was no chance for me to not make it work 📝⁣

The other night I was listening to an interview that Pep Guardiola did last season, when Man City were on the run in for their Treble win..... and something really jumped out at me and got me contemplating a lot of things.....🤔⁣


The interviewer asked "As a team do you feel you have one hand on the trophies now?" Pep responded... "We only focus on the next game, the next opponent, we put our full 100% focus on the next step and that is winning the next game, full focus on the opponents in front of us for the next 90 minutes"💡💡⁣

When I have been at my lowest and out of shape, my focus was on losing 2 stone or getting a 6 pack, because it seemed such a far fetched outcome at the time I built up a fear to take action when instead I should have just focused on getting to the gym that day, getting my steps in for 3 days in a row, eating under my calories for a week, small attainable goals which will snowball overtime and get you where you need to be....⁣


🔶Moral of the story, if you know you need to improve your health and physique or you need to improve your relationship with exercise and fitness.... Stop focusing on where you are now and comparing it to where you want to be, just put all your focus in completing the next step that you know you 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 be doing for that day, take it 1 step at a time.🔶⁣
