This is a few examples of what can be made at our Silver Jewellery classes.

During this fun Silver Jewellery making class for beginners, you will receive a good grounding in the basic techniques used by jewellers worldwide, upon which all jewellery making is based. These include: metal forming, wire bending, piercing, silver casting – demonstration, silver soldering, polishing and stone setting. These are simply the basics from which all other jewellery making skills are developed.

All tools and materials will be provided.

John Rothwell has been a tutor for many years and has delivered Silver Jewellery courses for beginners and improvers across Cambridgeshire.

The adult programme will be for participants with a BMI 25+ (in ethnic minority groups it is lower at 23.5+) and inactive. Both the adult disability and family programme will be for participants who are inactive and concerned about their weight.

We are delighted to be offering in partnership with South Cambridgeshire District Council a new 12 week Exercise4fun Programme. This is completely free of charge and will be a mixture of sports and activities. All information and how to apply can be found here

🚨FITNESS TESTING!🚨

It has been 4 months since we last done fitness testing so last night we done our Member Testing!

Members who done the first session returned to see how they’ve progressed and everyone had improved!🙌🏻

Next testing will be in 4 months to see even more progression💪🏻

As you can tell, people were pushing to the limits!🤣

🚨RACE FOR LIFE!🚨

Yesterday our Assistant Manager, Toby, ran the Cambridge 10k for Race for Life!🏃‍♂️

He completed it in 52:44 minutes and raised £265 for Cancer Research!💪🏻

Tonight at the college it is the annual Prom!🎉

Cars will be arriving at 6:30 and it will be a long queue to come round to the sports centre!
