Our club members are really enjoying the Thursday night British Baseball Instructional League games & with there being consistently 25-30 players in attendance it’s only going to go from strength to strength.

We are hoping from next year we can encourage players from the other local teams, as well as new players to the sport, to participate so we can create at least one, maybe 2 more teams.

More baseball = more FUN 🤩

This Thursday is week 4 of the Instructional League.

Corndogs currently have the edge with a 2-1 record with the Mashers looking to level it up!

Tomorrow both our teams are in action.

Our Division 3 team hit the road to Guildford to face the Mavericks of Guildford Baseball Club

Our Division 5 team host the Bobcats of Tonbridge Baseball Club at Sackville School.

All games start at noon & we will be live streaming the Division 3 games on our YouTube channel.

Both our teams are back in action this Sunday.

Our Division 3 team are on the road & they take on the London Meteors at Finsbury Park, London.

Our Division 5 team host Brighton Jets at Sackville School, Hildenborough.

What a tournament!

We would like to congratulate all the athletes who competed this weekend & in particular the Irish Baseball Academy of on becoming the 2026 Anglo-Irish Baseball Champions!

Day one of the Anglo-Irish Baseball Tournament is in the book! There was disruption to our live feed today for which we apologise, we hope to get things sorted for tomorrow 🙏🏽

There was some really nice baseball played over the opening two games today & we feel pitching will be key to the results.

GAME 1

Eli Carter took the ball & made good use of his curve keeping the Buccaneers batters thinking, striking out five over two innings. Alex Carter came in relief striking out two in one inning & Jess Rice (making her pitching debut) closed it out in the final inning striking out two.

The Canes had an all female battery in Jess Rice (P) & Carmen Arrevillagas (C) & they were AWESOME 🤩

For the Buccaneers it was a tough outing, Declan Sassman started on the hill & although he showed glimpses of what he can do he walked nine but struck out three over 1.2 innings.
Noah Lam came in relief & struck out two over 1.1 innings.
Vito Orlando closed the final inning with three strikeouts giving up no runs.

GAME 2

Gio Agostonelli was given the ball for the Irish Academy. Over two innings he kept the Bucs scoreless recording two K’s with his defence keeping it tight with some nice plays.
Ayla Nieddu took over in the third inning using her funky sidearm to keep the Bucs off balance she struck out two.
Ciaran Kent closed it out for the Irish with a K on the way to shutting the door.
Jack Linder opened it up with a grand slam 💪🏽

Offensively the Bucs just couldn’t get it going. Noah Lam got himself a 2 bagger & Charlie Wilkins had a nice hit but that’s all the Bucs offered.
