☀️⛳ Captain’s Stag Weekend 2026 — What a trip! ⛳☀️

Last weekend saw a brave band of Brackenwood members take on the mighty fairways of Market Drayton, The Shropshire, and The Astbury.

We couldn’t have wished for better sunshine… even if a few swings were slightly more “creative” than conventional. But that’s all part of the charm.

Plenty of laughs, plenty of memories, and plenty of stories that definitely won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

Great golf, great company, great fun.

🎗️ 403,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK.

Those numbers are huge — but behind every statistic is a family, a friend, a teammate, a story.

So when we were asked to share the post below in memory of a local golfer who recently passed, and to help promote an event at Moreton Hills Golf Centre, it truly is the least we can do. 💚

🤣⛳ A few cracking shots from our Captain’s “Stag” weekend away…
(And before anyone starts — NO, he’s not getting married… it’s just what we call our annual escape!)

🌞 The sun absolutely beamed down on us — although judging by some of the scorecards, it definitely wasn’t shining on the righteous. A few numbers are best left safely locked away in Telford… never to be spoken of again.

🏌️‍♂️ But fair play — there were also some brilliant scores from those who managed to keep it on the short stuff.

💬 One thing everyone agreed on: a fantastic weekend with top company, plenty of laughs, and memories that’ll last long after the dodgy swings are forgotten.
