At the core of our identity is a family atmosphere where our children learn their football through encouragement and good coaching. The club provides structured football training and matches in a safe, friendly environment, for both boys and girls from under 6s to under 18s. The club is run on a voluntarily basis, but is assisted by individual, local and national businesses, who have provided sponsorship for the teams to supply much needed equipment such as clothing, training aids and goals etc. Burnbridge Wanderers JFC is affiliated to the Somerset Football Association and abides by the rules and constitution of this body. All of our coaches hold junior management positions, child protection certification, first aid and FA coaching accreditation as a minimum. With a training ground & home pitch at the The King Alfred School, Highbridge and additional use of grounds at Highbridge Rec, West Huntspill and Pawlett. Burnbridge Wanderers JFC, is the face of junior football in Highbridge, Burnham on Sea and the wider Somerset area. This weekend it’s our annual football festival at King Alfred school where teams will be coming as far as mid Wales.
Apart from some exciting football we will be serving hot food & drinks including a cake stall to keep everyone fed & watered over the two days.
If you have a spare couple of hours & would like to help it would be much appreciated.
All monies raised goes into the club for kit & equipment for next season.
So if you are able to help please let me know.

🧁🍰Football Festival Cake Stall🍰🧁

For those that have been with us for a while you will know that for our Football Festival, coming up on the weekend 6th & 7th June at the King Alfred School, always has our very popular & REALLY successful cake stall.

For us to be able to make this happen we relay on the kind baking and/or donations of cakes by our club members.

So this is a shout out to all you budding cake makers to help us with our stall and set to work about thinking of what goodies to bake & donate to be sold at our stall to help provide funds for the club running and events. Were also happy if you dont want to bake then any donation of cakes would be appreciated.

For age groups involved can they please bring these at the start of their games on the Sat or Sun. This means we should have a steady flow throughout the upcoming weekend. For parents whose age groups aren't involved and want to help, if they could bring them on the Saturday or Sunday morning this would be amazing.

Don’t forget all the festival information, matches and results will be on our Tournify site so make sure you bookmark this or download the app to follow the festival. tournifyapp.com/live/bwjfcff2026
