The big night is officially underway!

Gloves & Glamour is back! 🥊✨

We’re thrilled to be returning to the stunning Batch Country House on 7th November for another unforgettable evening ✨️

An incredible amount of work goes into making these events truly special, and we go all out to ensure everyone has an amazing experience

From outstanding boxing talent travelling from across the country to compete on the card, to dusting off the bow ties, ball gowns, and dancing shoes, it promises to be a night to remember.

We can't wait to welcome you back for another spectacular evening

☀️ HEATWAVE UPDATE ☀️

With the current red weather warning in place, we have made the decision to cancel all Under 11s sessions this week

Our Under 16s and Adult classes will still be running, however we will be adapting sessions to reflect the conditions.

🥊 Regular water breaks will be built into all sessions
💧 Our water machine will be available as always, but please bring a water bottle and ensure you stay hydrated throughout the day
🌡️ We will be monitoring everyone closely and keeping intensity levels sensible
🧠 Listen to your body, this is not the day for pushing through dizziness, headaches or feeling unwell

The priority is keeping everyone safe while still giving people the opportunity to train.

Stay cool, stay hydrated and we’ll see those attending later. 👊

Every week, this incredible group of women shows up ready to learn, work hard, and push themselves to the next level. There’s never any slacking with this crew! 🙌

This video showcases some serious power as they focus on body mechanics and learning how to transfer their body weight effectively into every punch. As you can see, these ladies have truly got it dialled in 👏

A huge shout out to all of our women who continue to make the gym such a welcoming, supportive, and empowering place to be. Watching the women’s boxing community grow stronger week after week is inspiring, and we’re proud to be part of that journey.🥊

We've had a very busy week with our Under 16s, with excellent attendance at both sessions 👏

It's fantastic to see the growing interest in boxing within our local community. Not long ago, I was speaking with a parent who commented on the variety of young people who attend and how they all contribute to such a positive and welcoming atmosphere 🙌

While boxing is at the heart of what we do, it's the teamwork, commitment, consistency, and willingness to go the extra mile that really make the difference 🥊

It’s everyone’s favourite time… 🥁🥁🥁

As always homies, there’s a fair whack going on behind the scenes and here’s a little nugget of that for you ❤️🥊

A few weeks ago we entered the Sedgemoor FM Growth Grant competition and we’re incredibly proud to say that The School of HardKnox has made it through to the semi-finals! 🎉 (thank you Benny Boy for your work on this!)

As part of the process, people were invited to share their experiences of HardKnox and honestly… we have been completely blown away, ya bunch of cuties! 🥰

Over the last few days we’ve sat reading your comments, stories and memories and there have definitely been a few tear-to-eyeball moments, let me tell you! 🥺

When Bobby first started coaching (back when dinosaurs roamed the land…) the goal was never just to create a boxing gym. It genuinely was to build a place where people felt welcome, supported and valued regardless of age, ability or background… andddd obviously turn out some incredibly skilled fighters too, of course!! 😉🥊❤️

Anyway, I digress…

Reading comments from members who have found confidence, massively improved their mental health, made lifelong friendships, learned discipline & respect has reminded us exactly why we do what we do 😎

To every member, parent, supporter, volunteer, coach and friend who took the time to comment - a serious thank you, ya legends ❤️

It’ll keep me off Bob’s back about the absolute shift he puts in…for the next couple of weeks or so… maybe 👀😂

Whatever happens next in the competition, these messages are already a reminder that HardKnox is so much more than “just a boxing gym”… 🥊❤️

Tonight, we took our young boxer, Mason Mogg, over to Gillingham for his first skills bout 🥊

Although it was a tough challenge, Mason found his rhythm, dug deep, and gained invaluable experience boxing inside the ropes 👏

This young man is fantastic in every way disciplined, hardworking, respectful, and a true credit to the club 🙌

The beauty of a skills bout is the opportunity to gain experience in front of a big crowd, build confidence, and find your feet in the ring

A massive well done to Mason. Keep being you, champ you’re a true little legend, and we’re all incredibly proud of you! 👏🖤🥊🏆

Our very own Regan Smith has officially opened his own barbershop within the gym!

💈✂️ Welcome to Ringside Cuts ✂️💈

We are incredibly excited to be able to support Regan and provide him with a space to begin this new chapter. Regan has been part of our family for many years, joining us when he was just 10 years old, and we have watched him grow into the true gentleman he is today.

As one of our main boxers and a valued member of the team, Regan plays a huge role within the club. Being able to offer opportunities like this is what we're all about. One of the core values of our club is to help, support, and give back to our community, and we're proud to be part of his journey.

We can't wait to see Ringside Cuts grow and thrive, and Regan has our full support every step of the way. 🙌

Our girl never fails to impress! 🖤🥊

We took Xanne Moore to Portsmouth for her second bout against a more experienced opponent, and she put on one hell of a display. Despite it only being her second bout, Xanne stayed composed, kept control of herself, didn't get carried away in the moment, and boxed brilliantly throughout. 🥊

Unfortunately, the decision was awarded to the other corner in what was a very close bout. We personally felt she had done enough to get the nod, but we'll take away the positives, every bout is a new experience and another opportunity to learn and grow 🙌

Taking nothing away from her opponent, who also performed brilliantly. 👏

A huge well done to our girl for doing the club proud. She kept it clean, tidy, and respectful from start to finish. Great work, champ! 🖤

Xanne will be back in there in no time. 🖤🥊
