MATCH RESULTS – WHAT A WAY TO FINISH!🏏

A double-winning weekend for Mark to round off the season in style! 🔥

Mark 1st XI – WON by 6 wickets. STAYING UP!🙌

What a turnaround. After a difficult first half of the season, the 1st XI have pulled off an incredible escape, winning 7 of their last 9 games to secure their place in Div 5.

Mark 2nd XI – WON by 4 wickets

The 2nds finish the season on a high too, securing a 4-wicket victory and making it 3 wins on the bounce to end the campaign strongly. 👏

Both teams finishing the season in great spirits and plenty to build on going into next year.

Both Mark sides are back in action today as we look to finish the season on a high! 💪

1st XI host Wembdon 4ths at home
2nd XI travel to Lympsham

Both sides will be looking to end the season strong and keep the recent good form rolling. 👊

As the main man stepped in to captain, Boyo led the boys to a convincing 61-run victory over Burnham! 💪 Certainly no curfew for Boyo’s men! 😅

A great all-round performance and a convincing win, with John Lee and Dan Giblett both contributing good knocks with the bat to set the boys up nicely.

Sam Tinklin was the star of the show on Saturday, finishing 112 not out to help secure the victory! 💯👏

Not just with the bat either — Sam also returned brilliant bowling figures of 8 overs, 13 runs, 2 wickets and 2 maidens! 🔥

One to forget for Mark 1st XI as they fell to a 6-wicket defeat. Unfortunately, not a lot went our way on the day, but we’ll put it behind us and turn our attention to next week. 💪

A fantastic result for Mark 2nd XI, who beat Wells & Horrington by 10 wickets! A superb all-round team performance, with everyone playing their part.

Special mention to Sam Tinklin, who finished 112 not out, and Dan Knibb, who made 62 not out in a superb batting display to steer the boys to victory! 👏

That’s two wins on the bounce for the 2nds as they look to finish the season strongly! 🔵🏏

What a weekend for Mark CC, with both teams coming away with wins👏

Mark 1st XI won by 35 runs, making it 5 wins on the bounce! 🔥 A special mention to all the bowlers, with some fantastic figures across the attack to get us over the line.

Mark 2nd XI won by 6 wickets, with a special mention to Marcus Knocker for an unbelievable 96 runs with the bat! 👏 But ultimately, a brilliant all-round team performance that sealed the win.

All three teams in action on the weekend! 🏏

Another huge win for the 1st XI, beating East Huntspill by 72 runs! That makes it four wins on the bounce and, for the first time this season, we’re out of the relegation zone! What a turnaround! 🔥

The 2nds fell to defeat against a strong Frome side, losing by 120 runs.

The Ladies also faced East Huntspill, going down by 80 runs. Despite the result, the team once again played the game in great spirit and represented the club brilliantly. 👏
