Welcome to the award winning E.J.Churchill Shooting Ground 'The only Shooting Ground to be voted best in the country 4 times by the IPC shooting industry awards.'

Set amidst 40 acres of woodland on the stunning West Wycombe Estate the shooting ground comprises over 100 clay shooting stands and 6 clay shooting disciplines offering varied and extensive practice and tuition opportunities. Our layouts include three high towers, skeet, multisport, down the line layouts and purpose built grouse butts. Our dedicated team of instructors are trained to the highest standards and are amongst the most experienced in the country. We offer clay pigeon shooting instruction for novice through to experienced game and clay shooters both at the shooting ground and in the field.

🌙 Last Orders On Late Nights

The nights are drawing in, which means our late nights are nearly done for the year. The last one is Thursday 17 September.

That gives you two more chances to shoot late: this Thursday the 10th and the 17th. After that we're back to standard hours until spring.

👉 Two left, then the light goes. Grab a mate, bring a group. Just turn up and shoot. No booking needed.

Take up the challenge and do you part for Combat Stress. 🎯

📅 Thursday 24 September, teams take the stands at E.J. Churchill, West Wycombe, competing against the British Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force for the Top Team title. 🏆

No experience needed. Bring three others and a competitive streak, or book in as a solo gun.

One veteran who shoots it every year describes the day as a chance to focus, to reconnect, and to spend time with people who understand. Your entry fee is what Combat Stress turns into treatment for veterans living with PTSD. 💙

☕ Coffee and breakfast rolls from 8:30am. Two shoots, drinks reception, lunch and a live auction. 🥂 Done by 3pm.

Team of four £1,500. Solo gun £425, a £200 saving on four singles.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who took part, supported the event, and helped make it such a success.

We’re open this Bank Holiday Monday at E.J. Churchill, West Wycombe. 🎯

The shooting ground will be open as usual for licensed shooters this bank holiday, but it’s going to be a busy one as we’re hosting the UK’s biggest .410 competition.

Expect plenty of action throughout the day as some of the country’s best .410 shots take to the stands. The competition won’t stop you from shooting, but with plenty happening on the ground, it’s worth bearing in mind that it will be busier than usual.

The terrace, kitchen and bar will also be open, so come along, enjoy the atmosphere, watch some of the competition and make the most of the Bank Holiday.
