What an exhilarating Sunday it was on June 30th, 2024! The top four divisions of the Southeast Shires Cricket League came together for a thrilling Knockout Tournament, showcasing incredible talent and sportsmanship. Among the standout teams, Kashmiri Kings CC shone brightly throughout the competition.

🌟 Tournament Highlights:

First Game: Kashmiri Kings CC kicked off their journey with an exceptional performance, chasing down 85 runs in just 7 overs against Bajjar CC 2nd team. Hayden Rousow led the charge with a spectacular 50-run innings.

Quarter-Finals: In a nail-biting encounter against Kinara CC, Kashmiri Kings once again proved their mettle, chasing 80 runs in 7 overs. The match reached a thrilling climax when Abdullah smashed two consecutive sixes in the final over, sealing their victory.

Semi-Finals: The momentum continued as Kashmiri Kings cruised to a comprehensive victory against a Division 2 team, securing their place in the final with sheer dominance.

🏆 The Final Showdown:
Despite their remarkable journey, Kashmiri Kings CC faced a tough challenge in the final against Watford Haidery. While they couldn't clinch the tournament, their performance was nothing short of spectacular. What a thrilling game of cricket it was between Kashmiri Kings CC and Aylesbury Outlawz CC! Kashmiri Kings CC emerged victorious by 3 wickets, maintaining their winning streak and dominance over Aylesbury Outlawz CC.

🔥 Aylesbury Outlawz CC won the toss and chose to bat first, setting a challenging target of 300 runs in 38.1 overs. L Biggs led their charge with an impressive 115 runs, featuring 12 fours and 2 sixes. Waseem Shahzad and N Jayathilake were outstanding with the ball for Kashmiri Kings CC, taking 3 wickets each.

🏃‍♂️ In response, Kashmiri Kings CC started strong with a solid opening stand between Adam Ali and Sikander Rizwan. After Sikander's early departure with 22 runs, Adam Ali (75 runs) and Hayden Rossouw (67 runs) played pivotal roles, keeping the run rate under control.
