The Paddle Skedaddle Race Director .rendle just off the water from a little@training paddle and just couldn’t resist sharing with you guys just how stunning and special the start and finish location for the is…!

Open to SUP // Prone // SurfSki racers…..over 10km - 26.5km and the ‘Double Trouble’ 53km distances….!

Well what a day at Hickling Broad, at the first combined Norfolk SUP Racing/ East Anglian SUP Initiative (EASI) Winter Series paddle race today…!

A super turn out of SUP, Prone & Surfski paddlers took to the water in what turned out to be quite challenging conditions…!

Upon arrival at site in the morning it was a ‘pea-souper’…with viability down to around 100m - then the wind picked up, blew away the mist to leave the most wondrous blue sky and a bu**er of a side on ‘chop-fest’ which took everyone’s best skill and line judgement to get around the 2.5km lapped course…!

Thank you to all of you who attended today, racers, volunteers and sideline supporters….you’re all totally ace and we just love having you guys here sharing this beautiful place with us…!

Next race in the EASI Series is on 31st January in Suffolk with Suffolk SUP (open to SUP, Prone & Surfski)…..

Then the next of the Norfolk Winter Series races will be on Sunday 15th February…..!
