It with sadness, we have seen the passing of Mick Smith, landlord of the Bay Horse.

Mick and Sue were great supporters of darts in Heywood. Also held competitions for darter's to go forward to the regional qualifiers for the UK Open

It's with sadness to report the passing of Anne Bent tonight at 9pm. Anne was a player for the Stonemasons Ladies team and the wife for over 43 years of Stonemasons A darts player Dave Bent

Sad news with hearing the passing of Bob Dyson a stalwart of darting in Heywood.

Bob was part of the legendary Stonemasons A and Heywood St James.

A true gentleman, who was still hitting 180's in his 80's

Its with great sadness that we post if the passing of Bob Sandilands. Bob played in the league for many years at the Tanners and more recently with the Starkey.

It's with sadness we report the passing of a stalwart of the Heywood Darts & Dominoes League, Bob Pullan.

With his wife Jean they supported the leagues final nights and presentation evenings at the United Services Club.

Bob also played at the Heywood after leaving the club.

Sad news with the announcement of the passing of Jack Hogg.

Jack played in the league for decades and was a town team regular. Jack was known to throw regularly with his coat on.
