Morning from a sunny Thruxton Circuit where, for the moment at least, all is calm… but it probably won’t stay that way for long.

By late morning there’ll be 30 fully prepared race cars, a grid full of adrenaline-fuelled drivers, nervous engineers, hot brakes, tyre smoke and absolute commitment heading into the fastest circuit in the UK.

This weekend is extra special for us because it’s Adam’s first time racing at Thruxton. To make things even more interesting, the car has a brand new engine for the weekend too.

So while the team are quietly nervous, the driver is absolutely buzzing and ready to send it.

Let’s see what the weekend brings!!

Racing at 120mph next weekend: absolutely fine.

Teaching Adam to Tow a trailer round a mini roundabout at 14mph: apparently the true test of a racing driver and my nerves!

Throwback to 2020… the very first time Adam took to the track in a race car!

We were pretty confident he’d be ok, but it was still a huge leap. At the time, he was between schools, and stepping into something this big took real courage.

With incredible support from Matty Street (thank you, as always!), Adam got behind the wheel… and, maybe not surprisingly, took to it like a duck to water.

Moments like this remind us where it all started and how far he’s come since.

Still more predictable than Adam 😂

Some teams replace parts early. We prefer to explore their full emotional lifespan. 😬😬😳🤦‍♂️
