For the first time in over a month, my lungs are clear enough of the damned lurgy to have a row.

I’m supposed to be doing the 14ers Challenge this month, that’s 53 rows of about 4,200m in the 31 days of Jan. so I thought I’ll just try 1 4k row, just 1 so that I don’t upset my lungs! So I did one and felt alright so decided to just do one more… and that hurt but I didn’t die. Then I made the mistake of glancing at my logbook and noticing I was only 2k off 2 million metres. So I had to do a third…
