1 day left of my stint over here in the desert. It’s been a great few weeks, first of all huge congratulations for for winning the Hong Kong Open, this gets Tom into the US Masters and The Open, exciting stuff for 2026.

Abu Dhabi and this week in Dubai have been brilliant weeks, amazing events with the best players in the world at awesome golf courses.
Thank you to my players for all their hard work, I learn so much from each and every one of you. More than you’d ever know.

2025 has been a a roller coaster, I’ve had some great results and wins with my players, but I’ve also been fired, and had players struggle. In every experience good or bad there is something to learn and grow from. I’ve got a few weeks off to reflect and think about how I can become a better family man and coach.

2026 will no doubt be full of more experiences, good and bad, as the ancient stoics say, “ you can’t control what happens, you can only control your reaction”.

The Open prep:
A special few days at the stunning .

It’s been a fun week so far, watching the best players in the work prepare for one of the biggest tournaments in the world is pretty cool.

My first time working with was a lot of fun, and are all coming into the tournament with some great form, so fingers crossed for a great week, we’ll learn a lot and get better whatever the week brings.

Dallas and Munich:

On my way home from a trip to the sweltering heat of Dallas and one of my favourite cities Munich,(terrible airport though)!

A great finish for , missing out by 1 shot to get in a playoff. Tom played really solid stuff all 3 days on an extremely demanding golf course. Great 5th place.
had a solid 18th place, again some lovely golf, just a couple of unfortunate breaks costing Dean from being in contention. Great golf though. had a 25th place, again, some great golf and could’ve been a great week.

2 hugely impressive results were and winning their final qualifiers to earn a spot at the open. Playing 36 holes to that level having stepped off a flight from Dallas is a great effort.

Golf and golf coaching is full of ups and downs. But today was a good day, I watched one of the nicest and hardest working kids I know win the on the . This kid gives it everything and deserves every bit of recognition he gets. and also had top 10’s, so great performance boys, well done.

Out on had an incredible last round 62 to finish 2nd place, whilst had a very solid week and finished tied 6th.

I’m currently waiting to get on a flight to Singapore to see the guys and the following week the play the Singapore masters, a busy couple of weeks ahead.
