If you've just read Pauline's story, you'll understand why we're so proud of her. 👏

She's been selected to represent England at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in Winnipeg, Canada, this September and this is where we get to play a small part in making that happen.

Powerlifting is an entirely self-funded sport. Every athlete who represents their country does so at their own expense; flights, travel, competition entry, drug testing fees and accommodation all come out of their own pocket.

To celebrate, we are hosting our annual Lift n’ Shift on Saturday, 2nd May!

The goal isn’t just to get tired. It’s to train smart 🤘

I’m Eddy, the founder of ET Fitness & Therapy. If you’ve been into the gym lately, you’ll know we do things a bit differently here.

My background isn’t just in lifting weights—it’s in the science of Human Optimisation. I’ve spent years studying how the body moves, how it breaks, and how it performs at the highest level. I’ve been lucky enough to work with international athletes and world champions, but my true passion lies in applying those same ‘elite’ principles to everyday life in Hexham.

What does that mean for you?

1. Smart Programming over ‘Smash’ Programming: We don’t believe in overtraining. We believe in high-intent, smart sessions that leave you feeling stronger, not broken ⚡️

2. Body Awareness: You can’t build a house on a shaky foundation. We teach you to understand your own mechanics so you can move with power and without pain 💪
