Good luck to the Cheshire Ladies team as they take on Yorkshire today in the final of the Women's County Match Play Championships.

We're especially proud to see Heswall member Lucy Jamieson representing the county. Lucy played a key role in Cheshire's run to the final, producing a remarkable comeback from four down with four holes to play to help secure qualification.

Jason's Birdie Challenge | Part 2

After more than 13 hours on the course, the challenge reached its conclusion.

From a 4:33am start to a 6:10pm finish, Jason completed 91 holes, giving everything in support of PGA Care, Maggie's, Macmillan Cancer Support and Claire House Children's Hospice.

An incredible effort for four fantastic causes.

Jason’s Birdie Challenge | Part 1

At 4:33am, set off on an incredible challenge: to make a birdie or better on every hole at Heswall Golf Club in a single day, all while raising money for four charities close to his heart.

Over the course of the day, Jason played an astonishing 91 holes, finally completing the challenge at 6:10pm on the 14th hole.

As the world's best take to Royal Birkdale this week, Heswall is providing a championship test of its own. The recent heatwave has brought firm fairways, fast greens and superb summer playing conditions.
