Another new signing to the squad, and one I’m absolutely delighted to get over the line.

Reuben really stood out to me whenever we came up against him across both the JPL and Sunday League last season. He’s a strong, versatile footballer who competes hard, works for his teammates and has the kind of attitude that can help set standards within a group.

There’s bags of potential there, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what he can bring to us this season and helping him continue to develop.

Reuben already has some strong friendships within the squad too, which should make the transition an easy one.

Another pre-season transfer to announce, and we’re delighted to welcome Finley to the group.

Fin is making the step up from a team a few levels below, but what has impressed us most so far is his drive, attitude and willingness to take instructions on board. He clearly wants to learn and improve, and he’s shown a really positive mentality since coming into the group.

He’s also a versatile player, with experience in both defence and midfield. It’ll be interesting to see where he develops strongest over the next few months as the campaign gets underway and he continues to adapt to the level.

Just as importantly, Fin comes with an incredibly supportive family who have already been a brilliant addition to the group.

We’re really happy to have them all on board.

We’re delighted to officially welcome Queoni to North Ferriby!

He arrives with plenty of Group 1 experience and already has some strong friendships within the squad.

Strong, intelligent on the ball and with bags of determination, Queoni is a brilliant addition to the group.

We can’t wait to see him in a Ferriby shirt.

Can’t believe local league football is finally back! ⚽️

We have a vacant fixture tomorrow, but wishing all the local teams the very best in their respective season openers.

At U15s, there are only a few seasons of youth football left for us all to enjoy, so let’s make sure we do exactly that - enjoy every game, every weekend and everything that comes with it.

Looking forward to next weekend when our own league campaign officially gets underway.

JPL MATCHDAY | NORTH FERRIBY U15s v GOOLE

Another JPL pre-lim cup game for the lads tomorrow as we welcome Goole Town to Holderness Academy.

Goole arrive having earned promotion to the JPL Premier League following an incredible Championship campaign last season, so this will be a really tough test for us — but one we’re looking forward to.

We’re still not quite at full strength, although we’re certainly better equipped in terms of numbers than we were last weekend, which is encouraging. Hopefully the boys can also bring plenty of what we’ve worked on this week into the game, both from training and from our fantastic classroom session on Thursday evening. It’s a good opportunity to start putting those ideas into practice against strong opposition.

There’s no league game for us on Sunday either, which gives us a little more time to get a few injured lads back towards full fitness… and hopefully get another exciting transfer over the line. 👀 More on that one soon.

For our U15s especially, this is a big couple of years ahead. Football is important, but so is what happens in the classroom. Time to lock in, work hard and give yourselves the best possible platform heading towards your exams.

We still have one (potentially two) spots available in our squad for the 2026/27 season and would love to hear from a player looking for a strong, competitive football environment.

Joining the squad means:

• JPL football on Saturdays
• Group 1 HDYFL football on Sundays
• Two training sessions each week
• Excellent facilities at North Ferriby
• A clear pathway into older age groups
