After last weekends reality check, the team needed every man to stand up and be counted in what we knew was going to be a very tough and physical match away at Staverton FC, and every single player did just that leaving everything they had on the pitch, the passion, pride, and desire to win was clear to see from the very first whistle,

Ben Bullus opened the scoring with a delightful volley from a cross field pass, Gareth Beardshaw then helped himself to 2 before Dan Walker hit the top corner with a left footed screamer, (haters will say it was a cross tho) the second half saw no rest bite for the opposition net as Gareth Beardshaw grabbed another 2 as did Dan Walker.

MOTM today was Tyler Cuff who just dosent know the meaning of less then 100% today was no ex exception as he put in a fantastic performance.

We wish Staverton all the best for the rest of the season.

Today we welcomed Audley FC to St Georges knowing a win would put us at the summit of Div 3, however it just wasn't to be as we were ultimately beaten by a team that just wanted it more, after going ahead early the first half finished 1-1. The second half was full of chances for both teams but it was Audley FC who were more clinical and took there chances and all 3 points.

We wish Audley all the best for the rest of the season and look forward to meeting them again.

MOTM today was Dan Chesterton who put in a solid performance at the back as well as being a creative presence going forward.

Athletic left it late today as a 94th minute goal secured all three points, we took the lead with another clean finish from Noah Millard who had been put through on goal, Dyson came back with 2 to take the lead before Ethan Green found the bottom corner on 4218th attempt from a free kick to level up, Dyson again took the lead before Gareth Beardshaw found the bottom corner to level things up before the break. The seconded half started with Dyson squandering a few chances from corners before Athletic set in to attack with wave after wave of attack but Dyson couldn't hold on as Ben Bullus through on goal does the job to bring all 3 points home.

Knockout Cup action today and for the second time in the cup we welcomed higher league opposition to St Georges then proceeded to put in a hard working performance and managed to secure a very convincing 4-1 victory with every man putting in a big shift from the first whistle.

Goals from Gareth Beardshaw who pounced onto a delicate through ball to put us ahead early on and Dan Chesterton scoring from a fizzing corner put us 2 up at the break, Kingfisher came out strong looking to bounce back and pulled one back which was well deserved, however a fantastic finish from Noah Millard who latched on to a through ball rounding the keeper and slotting home from a tight angle knocked the wind out of the opposition sails, the game was put to bed on the 90th when Harry Bodymore converted from the spot to score his first goal in quite some time and his first for Athletic,

Man Of The Match goes to Dash Gait who ran his socks off at full back, solid at the back and created plenty going forward,

We wish Kingfisher FC all the very best.
