Colts Awards Evening - what a way to sign off a superb summer of crickets, well done to all our teams. A big congratulations to our U13s & U14s who won their respective leagues! Some very worthy and talented winners of individual awards too!! Finally huge shout out & thanks to our coaches and ground staff who work tirelessly to make this happen! On Sunday 19th July we’re delighted to be hosting the Annual SIPL In memory of Simon Timms, a great friend of the Club. The event has grown every year and will feature teams made up of players from ourselves, It’s a fantastic day to celebrate the life of Simon, who will always be gentleman and legend. What a fantastic 8 weeks we’ve had running the & programmes. We had over 100 children sign up and attend each week developing their core cricket skills, it’s been an absolute pleasure!! Massive shout out to the fantastic team of coaches who give up Sunday mornings and the team that manage the food and beverages!! Huge well done to everyone that took part or supported the game!! 💚💚💚🏏🏏🏏🏏👏👏👏👏👏

Mixed day yesterday, a good win for the 1st XI against , great innings from A.Gocoldas with 93 (jug avoidance, noted), with skipper L.Smith adding 78, D.Milson picking up 3 wickets in the win. A much tougher day for the 2nd XI vs 3rds.

For the first time, for a very long time - we have managed to field two Sunday Friendly teams, at home vs & away vs - absolutely delighted to see the growth of the game at the club. Great to see some old new faces in there too!!! Well done to all! 💚💚💚🏏🏏🏏👏👏👏👏

A good weekend with a pair of wins across the 1st XI & 2nd XI. Both captains happy with weekend performances, with good solid team performances against some good opposition. Well done all. 👏👏👏💚💚🏏🏏🏏

A good comeback win for the 1st XI against Essendon with Captain Liam Smith scoring a half century. A more disappointing day for the 2nd XI, but a good learning curve for the team. A handful of wins and a loss for our Colts section, let’s roll on to next week.

Difficult day at the office for the First XI yesterday, nail biter for the Second XI going down to an entertaining and dramatic last ball run out to tie the game. Far too many photos of both teams in the duck jersey 🦆- so I’ll spare people’s blushes. On to next week!! 🏏💚💚🏏
