The weather on Saturday for our Poets path hike was perfect. We started at Shepreth following the beautiful clear waters of the River Shep down to Barrington where it joins the river Cam after stopping for lunch in Trumpington meadows we passed Byron’s pool. And after passing through the pretty village of Granchester we followed the river through the meadows all the way to Cambridge after a well earned drink sitting by the river we made our way home

Spring definitely felt like it had sprung on our Poets path hike today. A beautiful day and lots of signs of spring from buds on the hedgerows starting to open to birds pairing. Why not come and join us on our next hike and see nature putting on its best show.
