We can't wait for the weekend! Some of our members are heading out to the River Stour to enjoy a scenic paddle along the picturesque border between Suffolk and Essex. πŸ›ΆπŸŒΏ

We are so excited to welcome paddlers to their first adventures on a river trip. Of course there are many experienced paddles who have been multiple times too. Our fingers are crossed for some sunshine. 🌞

πŸ›Ÿ We can't wait for Safety Sunday! This weekend, our members will be heading out to practice the vital skills required to stay safe when on (and in) the water. Capsize drills, swimming skills, and peer rescues are all on the agenda - it's going to be a wet one. πŸ’¦ Even some of our most experienced paddlers need to refresh their safety skills from time to time! πŸ’ͺ🏽

Recent heartbreaking news in the media is a sobering reminder for the importance water safety knowledge πŸ’”. Water environments are beautiful, but they constantly demand our respect and vital skills to help us stay safe. Having the knowledge and skills to react when things don't quite go to plan is vital to saving lives.

Want to see what we do? If you're out and about this weekend, you might just catch us practicing our drills at some of our favorite local spots around Hertford!
