Intensity is fundamental to progression. It can be learned and takes time to cultibate and master. But if you do something with intensity for long enough, great things will happen.

The snail is still moving forward. Try to focus less on the outcome or end goal and more on the process. Focus on the trajectory of where you are going too, not where you currently are. If you can do this then you allow yourself to be happy at any time. You remove remoseful thoughts and lazer in on what and why. The how is easy - Its on the field waiting for you.

Conditions are always perfect.

Some old footage from when we first started to grow this community.

We will be back out there soon. We were here, outside before lockdown, We will continue to do what we can outside dureing lockdown, and when it all ends, I can gurantee you we will be back out there the second we can. Because thats what we do.

You're in autopilot most of the time. Most of the time that's a good thing.

You cannot go through life constantly analysing choices or information. It's simply too much for the human brain to handle. BUT, you do have to look a little deeper at the barriers stopping you from training right now. Because, there probably self imposed.

If you'r looking from afar but thinking of reasons why not, try and flip the situation on its head and think why not? Step outside yourself and have an honest conversation. Yes it is a time of massive change, but that doesn't need to be a bad thing. Get your head right and get outside, on the field. It only takes a deep breath and a first step. There are no barriers here, only the ones you perceive for yourself. Take them down.

It's easy to make it hard. Keep the Strength& 30 second rule in the forefront of your mind. If it takes more than 30 seconds to understand it, its probably too complicated.

Runs, carries, simple lifts. Big bang for buck stuff means efficiency and effectiveness in equal measure. Strength& conditioning can be the same. Keep it simple, but never easy. Some of the lowest skill movements have the biggest demand. So don't allow yourself to get bogged down by fanciful training, hacks or latest fads.

We were doing this before, we'll be doing it during, and will continue after any lockdown. Because conditions are always perfect.

You'd be suprised how much fun carrying heavy things is.

You'd be more suprised how doing it in the dark and cold is even bettter. Trust me. It brings out an endurance in people they didnt know they had. But it is in there and this type of training draws that out.

Strength& doesn't create the ability to endure, it merely reveals it.

Stop waiting for perfect conditions.

They will not come in the form you expect. It's going to be cold, it's going to be dark and times right now may seem long and lonely. But there is hope, and where there is hope there can always be growth.
