Four weeks ago, this little old lady (Leona, not me) had a stroke.
And I’ll tell you right now that she’s all recovered and happy. Otherwise I know you’d scroll down to find out what happened. That’s what I would do.
It happened right when I was thinking of declutterring my life.
Work was busy and not everything I was doing had a return.
Home life was what can only be described as “the bare minimum for each of us”.
I was rushing most of the time and I was away from home a lot. Which I hated.
Of course, this didn’t happen overnight.
It was the result of adding commitment, after commitment, for a longer period of time.
But it was time to make changes.
I really wanted for all of us at home to have our needs met fully.
Proper, relaxing walks with the dogs.
Cooked food.
Getting places on time.
So I planned to make changes starting September.
And then Leona got sick.
And it felt like I waited too long.
We kept hoping she’ll get better and did what we could for that to happen.
And meanwhile, I cleared my scheduled.
To start fresh.
She got better.
So I got my chance to live and work differently.
I share the whole story and a lot more details in this week’s podcast episode which will be published tomorrow. If you don’t have it yet, you’ll find Coffee Chats with a Life Coach Podcast on all the main platforms.
I hope it will help you prioritize what matters and give you permission to change what doesn’t work anymore.
Can’t wait to hit publish!
Until then…
