Belles Dance Welcome to Belles, the dance school for all your dancing needs. Belles Stage School (BSS) was founded in 1995 in Aveley, Essex as “Belinda’s School of Dance".

In the year 1997, Belinda opened up her second school, however this was in Herne Bay, and is still here now. BSS in Herne Bay now has many students all of whom take exams and are progressing quickly up the examination ladder. We believe that to fully enjoy Dance they must progress and learn good technique and put what they have learned to good use by taking part in shows, promotions and local theatre as often as possible. We also believe that there must be a good, vibrant atmosphere at the School, so teamwork and friendship are actively encouraged. We believe that everyone should get the chance to dance! So we have classes for all ages in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Stage, Cheer Dance Pom, Freestyle, Acrogym, Ballroom & Drama. And just like that Summer is over and we get to start our new year of dance!

We hope to see lots of new faces and of course old faces too, we have lots of exciting things coming up and we can’t wait to get started!

So we did an “Into the Spotlight” show in Folkestone at the beginning of July and here is a few rehearsal shots!

We are so proud of how far all 6 of these girls have come from this show, your professionalism, your performance skills (we did do lots of faces!!), technique and more was just phenomenal.

Can’t wait for our next big show! XD

And that is another end of a dancing school year but it’s just the beginning for some of our lovely seniors who will be going on pointe in September!

We had such a wonderful day out in London getting our pointe shoes, watching Six the Musical and exploring Covent Garden.

Remember girls to work in those shoes by walking around the house and doing some small rises in them.

We can’t wait to get back to dance already we are so excited!! 🩰

Congratulations to all of our amazing dancers who performed today at Into the Spotlight! 🌟 Your hard work, dedication, and countless hours of practice truly paid off. You all looked absolutely beautiful on that stage, and we couldn't be prouder of each and every one of you. 💖
