We’re excited to announce the Uechi Ryu Euro Workout 2026, taking place in the historic city of Canterbury, England.

Dates: 11th – 13th September 2026
Venue: Canterbury Primary School, Canterbury

Join us for an incredible weekend of traditional Uechi Ryu karate training with top-level instructors from around the world.

Confirmed instructors so far:
• Grandmaster Darin Yee – 10th Dan
• Hanshi Bruce Hirabayashi – 9th Dan
• Hanshi Lee Adams – 8th Dan
• Renshi Paul Kronschnabl – 7th Dan

🎉 FREE LESSONS FOR ALL NEW STARTERS THROUGHOUT JANUARY 🎉

Now that Christmas is out of the way, how about a challenge for the new year? One that builds confidence, focus and fitness within a friendly and supportive community?

Sh**un Martial Arts School has returned to the heart of Herne Bay, opening The Dojo in Mortimer Street, and to celebrate we’re offering FREE lessons for all new starters for the whole of January.

Whether you’re completely new to martial arts, returning after a break, or looking for something you can do alongside your kids, we offer a welcoming and supportive environment for all ages and abilities.

Our classes include:

Mondays
7–9pm: Uechi Ryu Karate new starters (all ages, all abilities)

Wednesdays
5–6pm: Little Dragons Aikido (6–9 yrs)
6–7pm: Teen Aikido (9–15 yrs)
7–9pm: Uechi Ryu Karate (all ages)

Thursdays
7–9pm – Aikido (all ages)

Fridays
7–9pm: Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu (adults only)

Saturdays
9:30–11:30am: Aikido (all ages)

Sundays (monthly)
Kobudo weapons training (by arrangement)
