Preparations are gathering place for the 3rd Uechi-Ryu Euro Workout.

Canterbury Christ Church University is a wonderful venue in the heart of Kent’s historic cathedral city – and in just a few weeks, we’ll be welcoming Uechi-Ryu practitioners from near and far for a very special weekend of training.

With over 45 years of teaching experience, Hanshi Bruce Hirabayashi is internationally respected for his expertise and dedication to promoting and teaching Uechi-Ryu Karate around the world.

We couldn't be happier that Bruce has kindly accepted our invitation to Canterbury this year, where he'll be looking at the fundamentals of Uechi-Ryu, and how correct body alignment can help maximise power and effectiveness.

As we get closer to the 3rd IUKF Uechi-Ryu Euro Workout 2026 (11th–13th September 2026 in Canterbury, Kent) we're delighted to introduce the first of our guest instructors – Kyoshi Paul Kronschnabl, 7th Dan.

Paul has dedicated more than 50 years to martial arts, and over three decades to Uechi-Ryu Karate. We're honoured that he'll be joining us in Canterbury, where he'll be sharing his knowledge alongside our outstanding team of guest instructors.
