Farewell from Karen!

"After 20 wonderful years with Active Life, the time has come for me to say goodbye as General Manager and take on a new opportunity with another leisure trust, where I’ll continue supporting and making a difference within the local community.

I’ve had a truly fantastic time working with so many amazing people over the years, and I will take away some very special memories.

Most of all, I will miss my amazing staff and our loyal members, who have made my time here so rewarding. Thank you for your support, friendship and commitment over the years — it has meant more than you know.

I leave you in safe hands with our fantastic Duty Management Team, while a new General Manager is appointed.

Wishing everyone at Active Life and Herons Leisure Centre all the very best for the future. ❤️

Thank You, Herons Members! 🏊‍♀️💪

Throughout the summer, we’ve been delighted to offer free swimming, gym sessions and classes, while giving our members the opportunity to make a voluntary donation to SNAAP, our amazing local charity.

And what a result! ❤️

Together, you have raised an incredible £4,307 for SNAAP.

That is truly remarkable and is a fantastic reflection of the generosity and community spirit of our Herons members.

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped us support such a fantastic local cause. 🙌
