The consistency and efficiency is wild. So much so, I had to get tench to check my workings..
170 shots from a 300bar fill, with just a 30cm barrel.. remember it's a sub 12.. the setup is dialed in for our typical 8-10grain (ISH) pellets.
Check the 2nd chrono string with the 13gn.. it's using every bit of the potential energy in each shot. It could ofcourse be tweaked to improve speeds with the ultra heavies but reality is ,that's not what I need.. there's almost no wasted air with hammer bounce and subsequently it's really quiet for a proper carbine and the sight picture is super still.

I've also got the trigger re worked a bit and it's sweet. I won't show you what I did but a fair bit is now missing from the mech 😆

Still got the cobbled together single shot loader in, waiting for some info on the mag locking bearing..

I'm confident vector and epic can sort it out as it's got some serious potential..

Today marks 10 years since I started doing this full time..(obvs I've been doing it way longer,but actually turning it into a full time job) Its been quite the ride, big ups, pretty tricky lows but above all else I did it.. thanks you all so much for the continued support it means the absolute world to me even on the bad days.. I'm currently on a workshop ban.. doctor's orders, but did collect the epic vision today. Initial prod and poke looks very promising.

I'm making a few important changes to the items I keep in stock..
Going forward all the Steyr sets will be built as a 4piece set with grip, cheek,hamster and now a matching br front wedge. With most of us using the same rigs for multiple disciplines, having the option of a hamster or br wedge will be handy. If you only want it in hft trim it's no problem,same if you just want a br set. I'll keep the bits you don't
need as they fly out the door. But doing it this way ensures a good colour match if you want the 4pieces.
This blue laminate set will be ready in a few days, either as an hft spec or br or both if you want it... Right handed ,medium sized with my low profile aggressive cheek piece and CNC lateral offset adjuster kit. 😉

Loads of the usual bits rolling out the door right now.. plus I've got a single spare right handed target cheek piece here for the hft500 ultimate sporter stocks in the original laminate. They have the same rollover as the xti50 and aid a much more consistent and repeatable sight line.
Only this one left 80 plus the postage 😉

In the meantime I've started work on a few parts, for when it does arrive..
Playing with a few revised grip designs. Pulled the palm swell up a little further and reduced the rake as much as possible without going mad full match rifle type grip.
I've also been playing with a patented windicator (that might be a lie,but remember where you saw them first..)that fits in the front sling snap swivel. Needs work though, messed up the oring location but it'll do for a start..
