Tomorrow (Saturday 12th) all of these faces will be representing Herne Bay at this year's big event: the annual South Coast Championships in Deal.

Well done to our members took part in this year's annual triathlon event at Tankerton slopes, Whitstable.

It involved 500m open-water sea swim, 20km bike route and finishing off with a 5km run.

Unfortunately Bexhill regatta was cancelled so we thought we'd have a mini 'training' event with a BBQ and scavenger hunt afterwards.

We mixed up crews so everyone had a go at scull and sweep oar and rowed with people they don't normally row with.

Deal regatta worked out for us in the end, logistically 😅. Thanks to Nathan Sanahuja for hosting a super and quick regatta. 

Our club was thinner on the ground than normal but we managed very well: teamwork was a key factor of the day and we got some great results.:
